Lights and Darks: The Foreigners

Silent Blade.

The seniors, Unova and Shilly walked through the streets in search of Sōdo. With Blake at the center, they had one less person to look after. But Sōdo hadn't been at any meetings in over a week. They almost lost hope until Black pointed him out. He was looking at something when they went over.

"So... it broke last week?"

"Oui."

"Ok... I'll have to see if I have a way to fix it in my kit."

"Merci." He nodded as he got up and walked away. Shilly ran over and grabbed his arm. He whipped around and his sword appeared. Not a bad reaction if you ask Red.

"Shilly... you scared me..." His sword vanished as he relaxed.

"Where have you been? You go off the grid, house clean, not a meeting shown, and you've left your roommate a heart attack." He paused before freezing.

"Oh! Blake. Is he ok? He didn't return after his meeting, so I got worried." Blue sighed. Did he not get the memo?

"Sōdo, Blake was forced to stay with me. You haven't been at any meetings to get any details. Where have you been?" He paused before a voice stopped his soon-to-be words.

"Sōdo!" He turned to two small kids waving to him. He mouthed to them and they paused. He turned back to the group.

"I forgot to say this before. My bad..." He sighed. "I'm taking a small break due to something that has come up. My apologies for not saying something earlier." Red smiled.

"At least you said something now. What has come up?" Sōdo opened his mouth when the two kids called out to him.

"I can't say now. But when I can, I will. I'll see you later." He ran after the two kids, who had bolted. Red hummed.

"We'll get there. Let's go."

Sōdo went into a small section of town. He wore a red shirt with dark pants and had a blanket coat wrapped around him. He had a mask on his face below his mouth. The only person that really saw him was Black. Black watched the junior. He looked up at a building that seemed abandoned. He went in as Black went near. He watched him and used his dragon senses to listen.

"Hi, I'm here for the Lifter lann Tsurugi family." The woman there smiled at him.

"First room after the door on the left. Careful and mask on." He nodded as he stepped into the door. He went over to the door. A quick knock before entering. He was instantly ambushed.

"Brother Sōdo!" He hugged the large group. He smiled.

"Is this everyone?"

"Sister Grace is absent still." The oldest girl frowned.

"I'll go look for her. I'll be back." They nodded.

"Be careful, Brother Sōdo." He nodded as he went out and pulled out a book. He went down the street to a small house and knocked. The door opened up to a small boy.

"Hi, I'm looking for Grace Lifter lann Tsurugi. Is she here?" Someone poked their head out and looked at him.

"Brother Sōdo!"

"Sister Grace!" The duo hugged as an adult came out.

"Are you her brother?"

"Yes. Is she..."

"Grace, go grab your things, this is your ride." She smiled as she ran inside and came back with a bag.

"Bye Madam Grandwell!" The two waved to her as they walked back to the abandoned looking building. He handed her a mask before they went back into the room.

"Alright! Now that we have everyone, I'll start signing people out. Sōdo, I want you to do some things so that our entry to the outside is safe and successful."

"Yes mother?"

"Take this list and by weekend time, these should be ready."

"Copy that."

"Everyone else, start packing and getting ready. See you later, Sōdo."

He nodded as he went out. He took the mask off and took a deep breath. He smiled.

And with that, he vanished into the air. Black stared in horror.

"No..."
