What?

Blake couldn't sleep for a moment there until it hit. He was about to get up and use a sleeping method Sōdo had taught him when something grabbed his mouth and a sweet scent clouded his mind, pulling him into unconsciousness.

^~*~^

"WHAT!?"

Sōdo was currently getting calmed down by Schilly as Blue tried to figure out what had happened. Blake had disappeared in the middle of the night, but none of the alarms were triggered. Schilly rocked back and forth as Blue gulped.

"Thanks mom. No, this isn't your fault. No one knew when to expect it. Thanks for alerting me. Bye." She gulped as she hung up and turned to Sōdo. "We'll find him. Whoever took him couldn't have gotten that far. The guard would've been alerted of something or people would've seen it. We'll find him." Sōdo could only nod as Schilly hummed.

"Whoever grabbed him has to have a base. Or else, where are they planning everything?" Green nodded.

"You stay here with him." She nodded as they went out.

^~*~^

Blake could only achieve a subconscious state without something nearly knocking him out. He felt trapped as he silently cried out. Something rubbed his cheek, pulling him back into the dark.

^~*~^

Green growled as he and the Flames walked through the streets. The others had withdrawn and were watching Sōdo while the Flames and the Powers were looking around. A tingle hit Green.

"I found a shady guy near the south border gate. He's carrying a box and is sharing a smile like Blake gives."

He smiled as he told her he was coming and alerted his team.

^~*~^

The groups got to the gate as the guy waited in line. He seemed to smile at something in his box as his turn approached. Yellow went up to him.

"Excuse me sir, may I speak to you at the side?" He paused before smiling and stepping out of line. The Flames carefully approached the talk as the Powers trapped him.

"Yes?"

"Me and my team, the Dexters, were alerted of someone escaping the Detention Center. I need to check your luggage before you leave."

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but I have to go now-"

"What are you hiding?" He turned around to see the two groups making a wall between him and the gate.

"Nothing, sir."

"What's in the box?"

"Just some essentials..." Black growled as he noticed a faint shake of the box. Green took the alert as he met Yellow's eyes.

"Sir, let us see inside the box." He held it close as a weak noise came from somewhere.

"No."

With a snap of his fingers, the Flames instantly blacked out. Shilly was able to get a barrier up, blocking him from the entrance. Yellow appeared behind the male as the other Powers casted a knock-out powder. They were able to clean up the mess as the Flames got up. Gold carefully went over to the box as Yellow tied the guy up. Some clothes, food, a medical box... and Blake, who was slightly stirring. Gold nodded to them.

"We got him. Call it in." Green smiled as Gold got the Wave out of the box. The man was fuming.

"That's mine!" Whitley quickly helped Yellow hold him back as Blake trembled in Gold's grip. Shilly pulled her shield out and blocked his view. "Give him back to me! That's my child!" Gold growled as Wally took the man.

"You can have him when you are safe. Let's go."

The other Powers joined him as they took him to the group awaiting. A soft voice filled the air as his aura left the area.

"Wh...?" Gold glanced down and saw Blake slowly waking up. He shifted as Black got to his side. The others joined to check him. "Wh... what...?" Gold gently rubbed his back as Blake trembled.

"Let's get you to the others. Ok?" Blake said nothing as he let the words run through his head. Gold picked him up and they got him to safety.

^~*~^

Sōdo took him into a hug the moment he entered. Tears raced down the duo's faces as they were reunited.

"Oma, I'm so sorry..." Blake couldn't answer as he cried into the Blade's shoulder. "I should've figured it out... I'm so sorry..." Blue was quiet as Gold took Blake away from Sōdo and placed him on the couch for them to calm down. She then went over and sat down beside Blake as he took deep breaths.

"You did great, Blake. That man went right to prison for his actions. And with what we gave, he had a life-sentence. You're safe now." He smiled weakly as Sōdo placed something in his hand. The smile got bigger as he hugged the teddy bear that was given to him. She smiled as she stepped away. Sōdo sighed as he watched Blake finally relax.

"I sometimes wonder how his father did that after I see him do things like this. Then it gets answered when I see his pain..." Sōdo sighed as Blue paused.

"Why would a parent do this though?" Sōdo smiled faintly as Gold rested beside his brother.

"I don't know... but something Blake told me made me believe that he could be better. 'Even if my life is a living hell or the world is against me, I don't care. I will be the reason people see something new in their lives. I will be the reason the nations are brought together in peace. Even if I have to take every hit to do it.' I'm glad I helped him get in. He has truly helped this place. We just need to get him a place in it." She hummed as she eyed the sleeping brothers. She finally went to Gold and gently shook him into a subconscious state.

"Rest up, then reach out to your mom." He nodded softly before shifting beside Blake.
