(German and Scots Gaelic will get used)
Blake's face could've been paler, but he was glad it didn't. With what just happened, any paler and he was screwed.
Oh, you want to know what happened. Fine... let's rewind a bit.
^~*~^
Blake and their crew had gotten home and did a brief meeting. That was their first mistake. While they were occupied, the other Dexters met to discuss "important" matters. Those matters were Blake and Sōdo.
"You think that there's more than meets the eye?"
"Yes."
"We need proof. Then we'll launch."
"How certain are you to assume that they aren't what they say?"
"I don't know about Sōdo, but have you looked at Blake's ribbon?"
"No..."
"It looks like it's dead. Like he stole it. While I know it's not hard to obtain a Darkforest ribbon, we need to find the one that he has. Search the town for Darkforest's corpses and souls. They'll come soon."
^~*~^
Blue eyed Silver and Platinum as she went over. They were standing by an alleyway that was in a small section of town.
"I'm not going."
"We found something that might be our proof." Silver countered. Blue hissed a little. These two were the two confident Darkforests of the waves. She still didn't trust them.
"Alright... what?" Silver stepped back while Platinum led her to a can. Silver stayed at the entrance so that no one came in. Platinum opened one of the cans. A young body laid within.
"This looks very unprofessional." Blue hummed as she pulled out a needle and took some blood.
"If anything, this will turn on the ribbon if we're right."
^~*~^
Blake and Ruby were walking towards a wave meeting. Blake's mind was drifted as the building came into view. Ruby was about to pull him back when something knocked them out.
^~*~^
Blake groaned as he woke up. He was against a wall. He looked around.
"You lied to us." A cold voice spoke as the shadows opened up, revealing the other waves. His eyes instantly looked around. This was either a joke or someone had a grip on them. While he didn't find any proof of a grasp, he didn't like what followed. "Why did you lie?"
"What are you talking about?" He mumbled, pain roaring from the back of his head. Blue held up a Darkforest ribbon. It seemed familiar as she waved it.
"I'm surprised you haven't noticed." His hand went for his arm. Gone. His ribbon was gone and he was caught.
"Why..." Blue hummed.
"That's the question. Why?" His eyes drifted over to Ruby, who was asleep against the wall near Y. The fact that he was ok relaxed Blake, but him being asleep didn't help. "And no. He can't help you out of this. I should've realized it."
"Verpiss dich." He mumbled sharply under his breath. Blue raised an eyebrow.
"German? Doesn't that seem like a language that a certain wanted person would use? Like..." She held up a flyer. Blake stared at it in fear. "Wellenaura Allgemein?"
Blake's face could've been paler, but he was glad it didn't. With what just happened, any paler and he was screwed.
"I don't know what you're talking about..."
"Lying now, are we? Then where is it?"
"Widerrufen. Ich werde das eines Opfers nicht beantworten."
"Oh, your German won't save you here. Where's your ribbon?"
The word 'your' pounded through his head, making memories erupt. He didn't stand a chance trying to make a comeback. He barely made a noise. All his strength was snapped as he trembled. His gaze slid to the ground as he tried to get something. But his mind was elsewhere.
"Blake? Where's your ribbon?"
Silence filled the air as he lowered his head. Exhaustion went against him, knowing that sleep was better than fighting. Sadly his phone, which was in the middle of the room with the rest of his things, had other plans. A soft buzz escaped his bag. Silver went over and took the phone out.
"Unknown." He handed it to Blue who answered. She made sure to put it on speaker.
"Hello?"
"An cogadh mu dheireadh. Air a ghlacadh. Faigh air ais. Os a chionn."
Blake's head lifted lightly as the call ended. Blue opened her mouth to ask when the exhaustion pulled him under.
^~*~^
A figure stood on top of a building across the way from the meeting. They were walking out, Silver carried Blake, Ruby went on his way after being told to meet later. The figure smirked at the lone Lightwood. Ruby's eyes looked up and met those of the figure. He froze where he was as the figure vanished. He heard Y call out to him, but he hardly took notice as he murmured softly under his breath.
"A mhic a 'chogaidh dhorcha. Dè an sgeama a th 'agad? Dè am blàr a th 'agad? Dè a tharraingeas tu an ath rud?"
