Word gott going around that the sultan had gone to her room to check on her and tonight her and the children will be sleeping in the privy chamber, not surprised the woman he loved more than anything in the world was almost killed. The whole harem was up in arms trying to figure out where a security breach had happened to let this happen. Guards were being interviewed anybody who's walking around with being interviewed. I kept to myself, hatice would probably check on hurrem and the kids. I would basically be ignored but that was OK with me I didn't want to get involved in this mess this was the second murder or almost murder. " don't let the children know anything has happened keep them busy play with them teach them stuff I don't care what you do to make sure they don't notice anything wrong" I ask maya after I've been dressed. "Suleyman won't be around us so don't let them be neglected" I say. " of course sultana we will have them watched just fine" maya says. " I sit down and frown. " they are looking high and low but I doubt they'll find anything" I say. " they will search high and low don't worry " aya says. " rumour is mahidveran isn't well at all she is almost having a break down" Rasha said. " I'm not surprised being accused for something like that would rattle my nerves as well" I say. We go on with our day. I dare not leave the room to much going on right now best to wait till everything was calm.  I sew a new handkerchief with rose on it. My embroidery has gotten better I was never one for girly things like it but when one lives in a palace not much one can do. Doing many artistic things such as embroidery drawing poetry music it's not the funnest thing in the world but it's better than nothing sometimes I wish I could ride a horse but that's not really a woman's thing is it. The next day rumours flew about how mahidveran had broke down and hatice sultan had consoled her. I felt sorry for her but nothing anyone would say would calm her until the investigation was over. " aya take Dan please to the harem along with Ana I have a headache " I say holding my head in my hands. " yes sultana " she says taking my children out the door. I decided to go the garden and as I walked along I see his majesty sit down and talk to Ibrahim pasha. My maids  announce my arrival and the guards and the pasha bow to me. " your majesty, pasha" I say as I bow. " busy day for you both ?" I ask. Suleyman smiles and nods " signor gritti is expecting us at his home " he says. " that's the Venetian right ? " I ask. " yes correct my Sofia " he says back " I wish I could come maybe one day I can meet this man , it always good to have many allies " I say. " one day you will I'm sure now you continue your walk we will be going, I'll see you this evening I might be late so order dinner for yourself and eat it in my room and wait there you have permission to use my bath house too if you so wish " he says. I smile and nod. I let them stand then leave.  I continue to walk allowing my headache to dissipate. I return to the harem to find my son giggling. "Mommy " I hear as little feet rush to me. " ah there's my beautiful prince " I say as I pick him up. " he is full of engery today sultana " aya says bringing aya next to us as I lean down to kiss her little face. " good wear him out, his majesty as requested me this evening so I'll eat in his room and prepare there for the evening" I say. " why there ?" She ask. " they have gone to see the Venetian man so they will eat there and be late so I might as well get ready over there save me some time I'll take you with me you can help me get ready for the evening and eat with me then go back to the chamber for the night " I say. She nods and I go up stairs leaving them down In the harem. I walk pass valide door when suddenly a voice speaks up I turn around and find a young girl. " excuse me where is the umm laundry room?" She asks me. " go to the end of the hammam hall then take a left down the corridor ok ?" She nods and I continue on. I enter my chamber and go to my closet to look at gowns. My new red gown had come in and it looks gorgeous I had been waiting for an excuse to wear it maybe tonight would be a good night. I smiles and picked it up and laid it on the bed. Then I grab my ruby necklace and earrings. No tiara tonight would be to difficult anyway. Now for shoes I had order ruby slippers to match so I grabbed them and asked Rasha to fold everything carefully." Don't let it get crumpled please tonight is special, after tonight everything will be normal again" I say. She nods and smiles " your excited" she says. " yes tonight will bring his majesty back into my reach.hurrem nearly being killed yes is very important but I am not hurrem I need love too " I say. " can you bring the physician  I want her to look at me before I go tonight I don't want any problems especially when it comes to my health" I ask. " of course I'll go get her right now how about you lie down and then I'll be back very soon" she says I nod and do as she says and lays back. She arrives back with the doctor and I have her look at me " sultana you seem in perfect Health there seem to be nothing wrong that I can see I will ask though do you plan on getting pregnant again soon because if you do I can write you a prescription to help get your body ready " she says. " children come whenever they wish so not currently maybe in a few months Ana is still young I don't want to be overwhelmed" I say she nods then smiles and leaves with a tip. " see all is well nightingale " says rasha. " nightingale?" I ask her " my well it's a saying my mother use to say and when you think about it your like a nightingale , pretty and you sing too" she replies. " well alright then nightingale I am " I say giggling. " sultana will you ever meet what's his name gritti?" Asks Rasha, "I certainly hopes so would be nice to meet such an important man I think "I say smiling." From what I've heard his mother was what one may call a mistress in England to his father but I think maybe they were married the mother and father I'm not sure to be honest but he grew up here so he knows the merchants and the port " I say. " maybe he knows your father ?" She asks. " maybe but let's see what happens maybe we can offer you up as a bride hmm ?" I say . " oh sultana no no no I must stay close to you " she says to me. " ahh you want someone higher up maybe ?, well don't worry I will find you all good men but it may take time " I say. She shakes her head then laughs. " we don't mind being old and grey before we get married as long as your safe and happy we will be fine " Rasha says. " well don't worry you will still be young when your husbands comes" I say. Maya comes in and sets down a glass of water in front of me and smiles " drink up you will need lots of water " she says. " spending time with the midwife again are we ?" I say looking at her. " maybe, besides it's good for you , brightens the skin " she says. I smile to her then take the water and downs it quickly. "You two know his majesty has called me yes ?" I ask. " yes sultana, the children will be taken care of" maya says . " good and please don't stay up to late you two either I know how you both are giggling like here isn't a tomorrow " I say. They were good girls smart, witty, kind but they both tended to stay up late sometimes. They both nodded then smiled. Suddenly we hear A rush feet coming down the hallway towards the chamber door. " here comes trouble "I say. Suddenly the doors are pushed open and my son comes running through them. Aya is right behind him carrying Ana. " mommy, mommy I'm back " he yells as he runs into my arms. " there is my brave boy my prince my Dan" I say kissing his face. "Mommy the harem ladies they chased me everywhere, and then they let me draw and they said they would make me some handkerchief too in my favourite colour blue " he says excitedly . " how many handkerchief do you need my love ? " i ask. " knowin him probably a lot " aya said handing me my daughter.  " I need lots mommy  " he says smiling. " how about this my love why don't we ask the nice ladies to make you a blanket they will make lots of handkerchiefs then sew them togeather like a blanket for you hmm ? " I ask him. " will it all be blue ?" He asks. " yes it will be, Rasha will go right now and ask them for you " I say. Rasha nods and heads off to tell them the new request. I look down at my daughter and smile " and how about you my sweets what have you done today " I ask her. " well she didn't cry so that's good and she liked the girls jewelry " aya says.  " well I'm not surprised soon you will be toddling everywhere and probably getting into my jewelry box "i say. " well worse case scenario we get her some bobbles and gems of her own to play with " maya says. " nothing to small knowing her she will put it in her mouth " I say. " well when the times comes you will be the mostly beautiful sultana with tons of jewelry and you will shine like the sun " aya says pinching her cheeks. Ana babbles and coos then grabs aya finger and pulls it hard. " aye look at the time it's nearly sun down time to get going" I say. Rasha comes back just in time. " go tell the kitchen to bring my dinner to his majesty's room I'm going there now " I say rising. Maya takes Ana then aya grabs the gown and jewelry. We walk out the door and make our way down the golden path. When we arrive the aga let me in. Aya looks around in awe of everything. " you have been here before yes? " I ask. "Not inside, wow this is absolutely gorgeous " she says. " well let set up the pillows shall we dinner will be along soon anyway and then to his baths never been in there either " I say winking to her she giggles and set the gown and chest down on the bed. Soon dinner comes and we eat happily then we grab the clothes and walk into the bath house." It's gorgeous and think he gets this all to himself" aya says. " yes he does now let's get me sparkling. She helps me remove my clothes and put on my towel she slowly washes and dries my hair, she then moves on to my body, then laying down on the marble she slowly massaged me. I'm so relaxed I didn't even realize how long I was in there. Suddenly foot steps come near and I look up and smile. " I thought you would be ready by now, I thought I'd find a beautiful lady in my room waiting for me " suleyman says looking down. " you can't rush perfection now go get ready yourself, I'll be there in a minute " I say he smiles and nods and walks out the door. " let's get me dressed " I say to aya as she helps me up. " tonight will be a night he never forgets" I say.
