His majesty

I quickly dropped to my knees and kept my eyes lowered to the ground.
" Sofia Elizabeth your majesty " I said nervously.
He slowly put his hand down and slowly raised my head up as he did this I stood up we were now eye to eye. I had only seen him once or twice when I could but everyone was right he was most handsome.
" Sofia Elizabeth your quite beautiful " he said examining me with his eyes.
" thank you your majesty my purpose in life is to please you and if I have done this I am most grateful " I say.
He takes my hand and leads me out into the hallway.
"Aga, guards watch over the prince " he commands as he leads me down the hall way.  We walk all the way to the private chamber hand in hand I notice as we walk that the palace was quiet it must be quite late that everyone had gone to bed.He leads me into the room it is quite beautiful a large bed to a beautiful fireplace and his desk in the corner where he must do his work and the entry way to the the balcony that overlooked the entire garden the whole room was magnificent as was he. As soon as he stops in the center if the room.I kneel again and kiss the bottom on his robe. He then lifts my head up again and helps me stand. Slowly his brings his lips to mine to kiss me he then whispers in my ear " your beautiful astounds me tonight your mine " he leads me to the bed where he then takes control of what was happening and I let him he was the sultan he took what he wanted and if it was me then he had all the rights to me.
When we were done he held me in his arms I noticed he was asleep i knew there was no point in leaving while he had me in his arms and for the moment I was happy. I fell tired so I too soon fell asleep in his arms as well.
When morning came I open my eyes and discover the sultan was asleep on the other side of me his arms still wrapped around me. I decided to close my eyes let them rest for a while more. Suddenly I felt the arms around me tighten and bring me in closer to the sultan.  He had enough streangth to move me on top of him. We were eye to eye and he was smiling at me.
" Good morning your majesty " I say smiling at him.
" good morning Sofia Elizabeth"  he says to me smiling and kissing my head.
He then let me roll off his chest and he began to put on a robe he smiles and hands me a robe of white silk and lace which I took as a signal to stay.
" your majesty may I look on the balcony the people of the palace say this balcony has the best view in the world" I say as I stand up after putting on the robe.
" of course please do , agas please tell the kitchen we will be waiting  patiently for a magnificent breakfast " he yells toward the door after speaking softly to me.i slowly walk toward the edge of the balcony and look down upon the imperial garden they were right it truly was beautiful I could see all the way to the sea.
While I stood staring a arm snaked around my waist and pulled me in.
" is it the best view in the world?" He says smiling at me. I nod
"Then I guess they were right " he says taking my hand and leading me back inside.
Once back in the room we sit down on some pillows .
" your name is quite unusual Sofia is Turkish but the name Elizabeth is not where do you come from?" He asks smiling.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door and he yelled to tell them to come in suddenly two enunchs come in with a large table and set it in front of us, sumbul aga follows behind them with a small tray of sweets, when he sees my face he is slightly shocked and winks at me after he sets down the sweets and leaves.
" your correct your majesty my father was a Turkish man but he left the country as a merchant and went to England where he met my mother and married her, they then had me and my father sought a name that would combine the countries that he loved so Sofia which is Turkish which means beautiful and Elizabeth which is a English name my mother said she considered me to be named after two great queen consorts of England Elizabeth of York and Elizabeth Woodville" I say smiling.
" your English how unique I don't believe I have ever met a English person before " he says biting into something sweet as he hands me a piece of it's well.
" yes I speak English and Turkish becuase of my heritage but I also speak some French and Italian and Latin and a few other languages, my mother employer had two girls and they often taught me what they learnt during there lessons to me "I say digging in to more of the delicious food.
We continue to eat in harmony when the food was done with he allowed me to get change .
He ushered me to come closer before I left him.
" tell sumbul to prepare you for tonight " he said as he kissed the top of my head. I nodded and bowed before I left.
When I left the room I was suddenly greeted by sumbul who was looking at me with great pride.
"The English girl enchanted the sultan how nice" he says as we walk back to the harem.
Before we arrive I stop sumbul
" his majesty wishes me to prepare for tonight but sumbul aga I'm hurrems  servant if she found out " I say as he suddenly cuts me off
" hurrem sultan is not coming back anytime soon and if she does she can't and will not touch you not if I have anything to do with it Sofia hatun, if his majesty calls you , you will go I will have hurrems other servant take your place , your a favourite now so cheer up the worlds at your feet" he clucks to me.
"Sumbul please if the other girls know I move to the favourite floor they will gossip and I will be made fun of " I pleade with him.
"No you will move to the favourite floor immediately but since I like you so much if you want I can say it's becuase valide sultan has arranged it becuase of your work with prince mehmed will that make it better ?" He says staring at me.
I nod
"I get why your afraid I'm sure they other girls told you about Maria but your the first girl to get to the sultan since hurrem that's a accomplishment I'm sure they would keep your secret but they could use it against you , now cheer up go see prince mehmed I will send another concubine down in a while to release you and then you shall go to the hammam and get clean and then come see me I will have the Kalfa get you ready for the night" he says as he pats my shoulder to go in to the harem. I quickly get stopped by aya as soon as I get in.
" where were you last night I thought you had disappeared you never came back from the laundry " she say in a concerned tone.
" I'll tell you what happened come let's sit away from the others I'll tell you what happened but you must promise to keep it to yourself  for my sake and safety " I say as I lead her to the part of the sitting area away from the other girls .
She nods he head but still gives me a look of concern.
" I went to the laundry and mahidevran sultan was already in there she was so happy and seeing the stain on my dress she offered me a new dress several new dresses and she made me put this one on, so when she left I quickly came back here while you all were getting ready for bed and put the dresses away then went back to the princes room well then his majesty came in to see his son and I did as we had been taught to do so then he sent the nurse maid and the prince to bed he stopped me and brought me to the private chamber and well you can guess what happened." I say in a hushed tone my cheeks began to become slightly heated.
Aya just stares at me for a moment with her jaw practically on the floor.
" uh excuse my shocked expression I'm just trying to process everything "she said in a hushed but in awe tone.
" well then I stayed there for the night and then we woke up and he invited me to stay for breakfast so I did and he requested me to come back again tonight " I say in a whisper.
" your a favourite now Sofia that's amazing your gonna be moved to the favourite floor and have beautiful things " she said hushed but extremely excited voice.
" shhh aya you can't tell anyone I'm hurrems servant if she found out or anyone she would kill me " I say frowning at the thought.
" well I can see your predicament I'll help you though the last girl who stayed in the favourite room was sadika and she just got brought down here but everyone knows all the sultanas love you so you have a real reason to be allowed up there plus you sleep when most of us are at school and I can cover for you when your called but you have to let me help you " she says holding my hands.
" ok come on let's go see the prince  sumbul said he would send another concubine in my place" I say standing up.
" I have a idea ,sumbul can send me to watch over the prince when your busy becuase then I can cover for you and you wouldn't have a gossiping concubine tell you're secret " she says standing up.
I smile then nod.
We walk to the little princes room and find him gone.
The nurse maid tells us he was with valide sultan as she wanted to see her grandson. We just wait there for awhile for the little prince to come back,
Suddenly sumbul comes to the door and I tell him everything aya said and he agreed that it was a very good idea. She will remains there till the prince returned and stay there till night then the guards would take over.
Sumbul then Got me a nice robe of black velvet that I would wear to the bath house and then lead me there with some kalfas to be washed then brought back to sumbul for dressing properly. I was promptly sent to the bath and welcomed into sumbul room for dressing.
" now your name Sofia literally means beautiful and you are already one but I want to make you more then that tonight you will become a enchantress" sumbul says as he pulls out a beautiful blue dress that sparkles .
The kalfas began to dress me and help me with my hair and putting on all kinds of jewel peices. When I am done I turn toward sumbul when he comes back into the room and I can tell he looks like a proud father would how my father would if he saw me like this.
"Well sumbul will I do ?" I ask slowly spinning around so he could see.
"You will do perfectly and if he doesn't think so he is not as smart as people think " he says.
I follow sumbul down the golden pathway before I am allowed to enter the door opens reveling Ibrahim pasha or grand viser as he was now. When he sees me his eyes widen but he looks at me and nods in approval.he then signals for me to enter the room as turn around before the doors shut I can both sumbul and the pasha smiling.
When the doors finally stuff I slowly walk to the center of the room and kneel in front of the sultan, I kiss the bottom of his robe and allows him to raise me up.
"Sofia" he says almost like he was out of breath.
" your majesty " I say smiling.
He then lead me to the bed.
