"Those two fight like cats and dogs " aya says nodding. "Best not to get involved, be the peace between those two if I can help it " I say. " we are lucky with our chamber lots of room and it can be expanded too" aya says smiling. Indeed we had lots of room Valide had made sure of that and it could be expanded very much, but in future my children would be able to have their own chambers, then they would leave the palace, dan off to shanjak (province ) and my future little one either to follow him or if it's a girl will one day be married, if I had another boy I think I would remain in the palace , but if it's a girl then I would go with dan and be his valide sultan in his harem. But that future was a long way off. " rasha , can you go ask mahidveran sultan if she would like to have dinner with me tonight " I yell out and my maid comes running. She quickly bows and then nods. We continue our work , me sewing, her cleaning and sewing as well. Finally a knock on the door comes " come in" aya says. Rasha had returned with a smile on her face. I smiles the nod " rasha please inform the kitchen of the dinner and have them send up soon, aya please get the other girls to clean up please, I'm going to the hammam quickly " I say rising from my sofa. They both nod and take off to perform their duties. I leave my chamber and head to the hammam. When I arrive some servants help me disrobe and help me put on a bathing towel. " would you like assistance Sofia sultan " one of them ask. " yes please " I say. They lead me to a warm marble bench and begin to scrub and rinse me with water. " sultana your soap would you prefer Lilly or rose today ?" They ask. " Lily for my body " I reply and they begin to cleans with the soap and rinse effectively. " sultana for your hair we have rose soap and rose oil your favourite shall we continue?" They ask again. I nod and they begin my hair. I enjoy my hair being done it feels nice to have it massaged and made soft and smooth. They rinsed me off one last time then began to comb my hair. With everything done they helped me up and helped me walk toward my clothes. They helped me re clothe me carefully then I left the hammam. I walked carefully to my chambers well carefully but hastily. When I arrive the aroma of food is beautiful and my chambers looks amazing as well. "Welcome back sultana " aya says. "Thank you aya everything looks beautiful" I say glancing around. " I have laid out three dress for you to choose from in the closet for your outfit. I nod and make my way to my closet. Red green or peach. " the peach please aya" I call out. She immediately comes and helps me change into the gown then I choose my jewellery to match. Right as predicted there was a knock on the door. I nodded to the girls to let the guests in. " welcome sultana " I say as she walks in. She immediately comes forward with a smile and hugs me. "Thank you for the invitation" she says smiling. I motion for us to sit at the table. " your room is beautiful your maids must have spent hours cleaning" she said as she motions for sharbet to be served. " thank you, they worked very hard" I say smiling. We eat everything and gorge our selves on sweets and fruit lots of fruit. My craving had become a small addiction. My girls had made sure to keep fruit in my room as much as possible. " yum all so delicious and so much fruit I, surprised that there wasn't more sweets" she said as we moved to my sofa. " thank you, and yes this baby prefers fruits to sweets this time around" I say. " with mustafa I loved lots of fruit and sweeets as well " She says. " our children must be alike " I say smiling. " in more ways then one " she says grabbing a sip of cherry juice. " I can't wait for your little prince to be born, he will surely take after his mother in more ways then one " she says. " well we have a few months to go I'm only two months along almost three and dan will be a year when the little one will be born " I say smiling. " that's not far away that's only about few months away you will be good it's going to be a boy you'll see" she says." Either way I'll have a baby soon, and I want you by my side again, you to me through it last time your good luck for me " I say. " oh I'll be there no doubt about it darling, I'll be by your side through the whole thing " she say patting my hand. " good " I say smiling. " we will have everything ready, early this time, if this baby comes early like his brother did we will be ready" she says. " will you be doing practice drills ? " I say laughing . " if it helps yes I will, I'll make sure every one in your service and the harem is ready " she says smiling. " very good " I say taking a bite of apple. " of course sultana I would be honoured and happy to do that , I speak several other languages as well, I'm sure Ibrahim pasha would love to help as well i know he speaks many other languages as well as I do " I say. " wonderful , English is a beautiful language though it might be hard to learn sultana I hope he enjoys the challenge " I say. " he loves a challenge always has, I think He will be fine" she says. " my my it's getting late I should let you rest " she says standing up. "Oh yes I didn't realize how late it is you better be off " I say standing up. We hug and then she leave my chamber. " well you both seemed to have a good time " aya says coming out of the back room. " yes indeed it's late I should sleep, is dan alseep ?" I ask. " yes he was out like a light after you fed him after dinner " she says. "Good I'm glad " I say undoing my jewellery. Aya begins to turn down my bed then turns to me " I'll get your silk night gown for your comfort " she says. I nod then smile and thank her. I change then head to bed tired from the day. The next morning I wake up feeling good. " good morning sultana breakfast ?" " morning aya yes please with some pudding sweet pudding " I say smiling removing my covers and sliding out of my bed. I put on my robe and sit down. Rasha then comes out with dan and hands him to me. " did he sleep well rasha " I ask " yes sultanım very well he only woke up once but he fell alseep right away after a few minutes " she says smiling. " good rasha thank you " I reply to her.she smiles then bows to get ready for the day. soon breakfast is delivered with the sweetest pudding I've had in a while so delicious." Well sultana which dress would you like to wear today ?" Aya asks. " hmm my purple gown please" I tell her. "Very good sultana " she says and runs to get my gown. " mahidveran is looking at the room today I hope she likes it " I say changing into my gown as my food is cleared away.
" yes indeed it's a beautiful room " aya says fixing my hair up into a low bun. "Let's go for a walk" I say. " yes sultana" we walk around till we come near the room right as we are about to turn the corner we see hurrem sultan enter the chamber, a sly smile on her face. " well we know who won the chamber sultana " aya says. " indeed let's return to the chamber send rasha out for info" I say. We turn back toward the way we came and continue to my chamber. I immediately sit down on my sofa and aya sends out rasha for info. For sometime I sit and wait for news. Finally a knock on the door answers my questions. I nod toward aya and she opens the door and let's her in " well what did you find out rasha " I say. " it was mahidverans new chamber but hurrem sultan found out and asked his majesty for the room last night during halvet, he sent out the order this morning via sumbul aga and visited svalide sultan and told her of his order" she says. I nod " anything else " I ask. " yes sultanım hurrem knowing the sultana would look at her new chamber to over see the renovation, left at the same time via informant, I believe to anger her, she then asked Sumbul aga who the room was being prepared for, sadly Sumbul aga had to answer, and answered it was for hurrem, she then proceeded to look at the renovation, leaving mahidveran sultan quiet upset, I saw her heading to Valide sultans " she says. " very good thank you rasha, aya pay her well thank you, you two may retire for a bit " I say. They both bow and leave for there chamber.so hurrem came and stole her happiness once again. There is nothing to be done what happened , happened. I'll have to keep my eye on them both as well as keep out of their fight lord knows it won't end well or for a while.
