Continuation of COG (aru shah)

Aru, Aiden, and Nikita stepped forward toward The Council, or currently, Hanuman and Urvashi because the other members couldn't make it. Rudy was a few feet behind them (like usual).

Scaredy cat, she thought.

The amount of pain she had felt when she was told Sheela was kidnapped was unbearable. She had gone through this same pain when Sheela got captured before, but this time was no different, and Nikita hated experiencing it. Hated feeling powerless.

"Ah, Pandavas, how are you all feeling? Good, I presume, considering the events of the battle with the Sleeper." Hanuman smiled warmly at them.

In her peripheral vision, she could see both Aru and Aiden stone-faced. Both of their eyes were rimmed with red even though she knew they tried to hide it, to stay strong. Rudy was clueless but in total honestly, he was always like that.

Aru burst out in an explanation of everything. She hadn't expected her to tell them about their travel to Agni, or their talk about Kara....but she included all of it. She would do anything to save her sisters, that was one reason Nikita trusted her so much. She didn't trust Aru with her outfit choices, however.

She dimmed out of her thought bubble and glanced upward to Hanuman. He looked ready to riot. For a divine being, it was surprising, but there was no doubt he was shocked too. Urvashi, however, clapped her hands together, and a swirl of flowers pushed away to reveal a... bottle?

Well, that looks boring.

She handed the potion to them and said that this would amplify their mind link so strongly that they would be able to find out where Brynne and Mini were. Aru's eyes widened with hope as she opened the bottle, but she glanced at Nikita.

"You should do it, you know Brynne and Mini more than me. And wherever they are, Sheela is too...." Nikita said quietly.

Shah nodded and pushed the liquid thingy into her mouth. She started coughing, but Aiden started to pat her back, and she breathed in deeply.

Aru Shah (pov)

She saw Indra.

She saw Amaravati (Indra's capital city for those who don't know).

She saw a cavern.

She saw Mini.

She saw Brynne.

She saw Sheela.

Aru Shah gasped, sitting up. She couldn't believe it.

Her eyes gradually widened to the size of a potato. (A.N ikr im so funny)

That's why he chose there as his new 'hiding place'. Or whatever villain cliche it's called. Maybe it's called a scheming laboratory. But he knew no one would suspect Amaravati as that place...or believe it. But I have to trust whatever silly bottle Urvashi gave us.

Suddenly, Shah remembered that Kara said to come alone. But she couldn't trust her anymore.

Kara didn't tell me about what was going to happen to my sisters. Or anything. She can't just say sorry and think whatever happens won't be her fault.

But she's been through a lot, a treacherous part of her mind whispered.

So has everyone, she hissed back. She has to make up a good excuse if we're gonna get on talking terms again.

"Aru?" Aiden asked cautiously. "What did you see?" His arm was gently wrapped around her, and she was just realizing that she was leaning against him too.

"They're in Amravati."

"WHAT!?!?! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!" Hanuman boomed, growing taller.

"I know what I saw"

"Then we have to go," Aiden said. She looked at him gratefully and turned toward her other sister and friend-ish friend.

Nikita nodded, but Rudy...

"This seems complicated. Can I go now?" He asked. There was no Mini to drag him along but Aiden seemed to want the job.

"You're coming."

"Awwww, you love me now, right cuz?"

"Don't push it"
