BUT IM A PRINCE

Rudy

Fear spilled inside his veins as he looked across the cave that was spread out in front of him. The cavern was an inky-black and gave off a gloomy vibe.

Why did you have to do that? His mind hissed at him. Now you're all alone, how are you supposed to get back?

He turned around and a large, narrow slide stared back at him. Rocks jetted out to the side of the slide, and they were sharp. He heard a loud scream. Startled, he whipped his head back and forth.

"AHHHHHHH," someone fell on top of him and Rudy was now struggling to get air. "Get off ME," he yelled. "I'm A PRINCE."

"Says the prince who got us landed in a place where we don't know anything about," Aru said as she got off the slide, holding out a hand for him.

Grateful, he reached for it, but Nikita beat him to it. She scrambled off of Rudy and stepped toward Aru. Rudy glared daggers at Nikita and stumbled to his feet.

Aiden came tumbling after Shah, and his eyes immediately landed on his cousin. "What did you see?"

Rudy felt himself shrinking with all the eyes on him. His shoulders sagged, "I'm not sure, I just felt we needed to go to this place. I'm sorry."

Sympathy flooded Aiden's eyes, and he nodded, gesturing to the others that it was just a mistake.

"Let's see where this tunnel leads," Aiden suggested.

All of them walked slowly into the cave. The cave gradually started becoming more lit by torches lining the side. It should have made him more comfortable to be able to see properly, but the way the torches were placed, it seemed as if they were spying on him. He wrapped his arms around himself and shuddered.

He reached toward one but immediately pulled back. A marking clearly shone on each of the lanterns, but he had no idea what it meant. He glanced toward the others and paused on Aru.

"They're here," she whispered softly. Recognition was clear on her face.

Suddenly muffled screaming came from their left, and after exchanging worried glances they approached the sound.

Brynne, Mini, and Sheela were strapped to the wall by thick metal bands, and their were mouths covered with enchanted fabric so they wouldn't scream for help.

Which is the logical thing to do, if I was an evil demon. Just saying.

Their eyes widened by the sight of the rest of the Potatoes approaching. They started struggling against the ropes, and all of them ran toward the trio.

Aru pulled out her sword, and Aiden his scimitars. Both of them carefully worked on freeing their friends. He walked towards them and tried to help, but both of them shook their heads. Rudy sighed, looked towards Mini, then away.

He wasn't sure what to feel about her. Did he like her...as a friend...or something more? Did she? He averted his mind away from the thought, but a tug from his heart was enough to know what Rudy felt...but what about her? (A.N oblivious potato)

Once they were free, all three of them started talking.

Mini: Aru! Aiden! Nikita! Rudy! You all came!!! I knew you would!!! *about to hug Aru then pulls away.* Did you all wash your hands?

Brynne: That's way better, thank you. Also OUR SWO-

Sheela: Nikita! *Hugs*

"Whoah whoah whoah, one at a time, please," Rudy said.

"I'll go first then," Brynne said. "Our swor-"

She was cut off by Aiden. "Nikita, is something wrong?"

Nikita was near the only table in the room. It was dust-covered and scratch marks cut through half of the table. A paper was spread across the wood, and she was staring at it.

"It's... a map."

(A.N. Ha! Another cliffhanger! )

(A.N. NOT!!!!)

Nikita.

In front of her was a map labeled with what looked like a different language?. Confused, she looked up to her friends.

"Who would keep a map here?" Aru asked.

"I think I could guess who," Brynne hissed softly, walking toward the table.

All the Potatoes crowded around the map, but Brynne started talking immediately.

"This is a waste of time. They took our swords away from us! Let's go get them first!"

"But what if this has a clue that will help us find the Amrita, we can't just leave it here!" Shah protested.

"Then let's take it and go," Mini and Aiden suggested in unison.

Brynne and Aru rolled their eyes, and Nikita rolled up the map. Green vines shot out of her hands, wrapped around it, and secured it safely on her waist.

Today, her outfit was studded with dark red ruby's which lined an inky-black dress. Pink flowers laced around her hands, and even she had to admit. It was one of her best works.

Yet.

Sheela's eyes flashed silver and she pointed to a sky blue door at the edge of the room. The reunited Potatoes cautiously approached it, but when Aru tried opening it, it was locked.

Shah pulled out her sword and waved it in front of the door.

"That's not what I taught you," Aiden sighed.

Lightning bolts took the form of arrows and carved into the blue firewood, creating a big enough circle for all of them to walk into.

"Still worked," Aru said smugly, walking inside.

The room was really tiny, and it looked like someone had very recently been here, based on the footprints. Nikita opened her mouth to warn the others, but Brynne had already taken the swords which were carelessly sitting in a weaved basket in the middle of the room.

"Tsk, tsk," an unfamiliar voice (A.N to her) said from behind them.

(A.N another cliffhanger. MWAHHHAHHAHAHHA)
