Me and the Autobots drove around for a while, but as night approached, I was starting to get tired and Bee eventually called the shots to stop and take a break. We drove back to the abandoned building the others were staying at, but stayed at a distance so we wouldn't attract attention to it. I sat in Bee's lap, leaning back as I watched the twins bicker. "So, Skids, Mudflap." I spoke up, hoping to break up the fight. The two Autobots looked over at me. "How do you like being two seperate cars instead of that one Icecream truck?", "Oh it's so relaxing!" Mudflap replied. "Yeah, not having to check if this slow ass is still hanging on is the best!" Skids snickered. "What did you call me?" Mudflap growled, "I called you a "slow ass"!" Skids retorted. Mudflap leaped onto him and punched his brother in the face. I sighed "Well, so much for trying to break up the fight." I giggled and looked up at Bumblebee who just shook his head. Gently scooping me up in his hand he put me down on the ground and got up. He went over to the twins and grabbed a twin in each hand and threw them over. "Quit..- messing around..-!" He ordered. The twins groaned and I couldn't help but laugh. "Maybe you guys want to take another patrol round? You can make it a race." I suggested. The lights in their optics immediately brightened and they quickly ran off. "They really are a pair of goofballs." I laughed as Bee walked back over to me and sat down. "Yeah..-. They don't..- make..- it..- boring..-, that's for sure..-." He said with a sighing whir. I was about to sit down on the ground when he scooped me up again and placed me back in his lap. I got comfortable again and leaned back against him.

There was a comfortable silence around us and I swear I could've fallen asleep if Bumblebee hadn't spoken up."(Y/N)..-." Opening my eyes I craned my neck to look up at him. "Yeah?" He looked at me, but didn't say anything else. We simply held eye contact, but I could feel him take a deeper breath. "About..- earlier..-." He began and I gave him a slight confused look. I was about to ask him what he meant when I remembered the kiss. My eyes slightly widened and my face heated up. I was about to look away when Bumblebee put his finger under my cheek to keep me from looking down. "Uhm... Yeah." Was the only response I could think of. I hadn't exactly planned out what would happen if he decided to bring it up. But it seemed like we were going to have a chat about it. Bee, again, stayed silent for a while, just looking at me. I could see that he was trying to figure out what to say and I felt my heart clench. 'Shit... He's going to tell me it was stupid. A bad action. He's going to tell me it was terrible. What if he doesn't want to be my friend anymore? Did I really just ruin our entire friendship just by that one mistake? I'm such an id-',

"I liked it..-." Bee spoke up, slightly averting his optics, but still keeping my face up. 'Wait, what?' My train of thoughts immediately shut down. Now I was the one to stay quiet. Not only could I feel the heat explode on my face, but I was utterly dumbfounded. "What?" Was all I could get out after staying quiet for way too long. "I liked it..-. Like..-, really..- liked it..-." He repeated, returning to keep eye contact again. I was utterly lost. I just didn't think he would actually like it. My brain was trying to figure out what to say, but it was like it had shut down. "Are you sure?" Left my lips before I had even thought about it. Bee gave me a disbelieving look and slightly scoffed, "Yes..-, I'm sure!" Seeing his reaction of me not completely believing him made me giggle. "Sorry!" I said between my giggles. "I just didn't think you would say that." I felt his entire form slump. "It was..- a bad..- idea..-." He muttered and I immediately ripped my face out of his hold and got up to stand on his lap to get closer to him. "No, that's not what I meant." I quickly explained, cupping his face with my hands. "I just didn't think you liked it. I was so sure I had messed up." I admitted looking him straight in his optics and giving him a smile. "Why..-?" He asked, not moving to get his face away from my hands. I sighed, "I don't know. I was just sure you would think it was weird of me." I felt his hand on my head as he gently ruffled my hair. "Well..-, I did..- really..- enjoy..- it..-." He assured. "That makes me really happy, Bee." I grinned, wrapping my arms around his neck and hugged him. He immediately returned the hug, keeping his big hands gently on my back, so he wouldn't crush me. It was a nice hug that lasted probably a minute.

"There..- is one..- other..- thing..- I have to..- admit..-, (Y/N)..-." Bumblebee spoke up again, pushing me slightly back to look at me again. "Sure, what's up?" I asked with a gentle smile. Once again, Bee took his time, scratching the back of his head before he gently took my hand in between his fingers, holding onto it. "I..- really..- liked that..- kiss..- because..-... I really like you..-." He admitted, looking me straight in the eyes. I didn't know my face could get even hotter, but this moment confirmed it, because I'm sure I could fry an egg if you put it on my face. 'Oh, my god. Oh, my god. He likes me? Really? Wait... Leo was actually right? What the frick?' I don't know if I took too long to answer, but I noticed Bumblebee's eyes look away. "You don't have to..- answer..- if you're..- not comfortable with it..-, but I..- just..- wanted..- you to know..-." He said sadly as he let go of my hand. I snapped back to reality and immediately took his hand back in mine. "No, no. It's not like that! Not at all." I assured with a gentle smile. Bumblebee gave me a doubtful look. "No, really." I started and took a deep breath, "I really like you too." I admitted with an awkward laugh. Bumblebee's potics widened, his surprise clear as day. "Really..-?" He asked, hope evident in his voice. "Yeah." I rubbed the back of my head.

"You..- have..- no idea..- how long..- I've..- wanted..- to tell you..- this." A tension I hadn't noticed, left his shoulder as he slumped forward a bit, closing his eyes. That made me laugh as I wrapped my arms around his neck once more, hiding my face in his shoulder. He wrapped his hands around me and leaned back against the mountain wall.

We were just enjoying each other's presence when a question popped up in my head. "So..." I spoke up, leaning back so I could see his face. He turned his face to me and raised a metal brow. "How long have you wanted to tell me?" a grin formed on my lips as I heard him cough before turning slightly away again. "Eight months..-." He admitted. It was a short but accurate answer. "Really?" I gasped, and I'm pretty sure stars formed in my eyes. Bumblebee nodded, coughing awkwardly. "I wanted to tell..- you..- when..- I realised..- I had feelings..- for you..-, but..- you..- never..- gave me ..-any..- hints about..- if..- you..- felt..- the same..- so I didn't want..- to..- risk..- ruining our..- friendship..-." 'He didn't want to ruin our friendship...' It made my stomach fill with butterflies. The same fear I had, was something he too had thought about. "I would never let it ruin our friendship." I assured, holding his hand to my face and resting my forehead to it. Bee moved his hand to cup my face and I looked at him, a fond smile plastered on my lips.

"I..- know it's..- too early..- to..- say..- "Those..- words..-". But..- I promise you..-, (Y/N)..-. I will never..- let anything..- happen to you..-." Bee spoke softly as his digit gently resten on my cheek. I leaned in closer to his face, my nose almost touching his mouthpiece as I looked into his optics. "I'll hold you to that." My voice was nothing more than a whisper, as I closed the gap and kissed him.
