We finally arrived at our college, it was a beautiful day and the the campus was already filled with other students. Some other freshmen and others who had already gone here for a year or two. I immediately felt uncomfortable by all the people, but there wasn't much I could do. Even though me and Sam were going to the same college, we were going to study different subjects. I knew it would be nice to know my brother was close by, but I also knew it was good for me to not be around him all the time.

"Oh, my gosh! Look at this place!" Mom exclaimed, taking a circle around herself to get a quick look at everything. "I feel smarter already." She sighed in delight, making me giggle. "Ron, can you smell it?" Mom asked dreamingly, looking at a statue. "Yeah, smells like 80, 000 dollars a year." dad said sarcastically, but mom glared at him, "Hey, cheapo!"

Dad snickered before turning to us. "Hey, you two go ahead. We'll get your stuff." Dad said, gesturing for us to go. Sam immediately took off, but I didn't move. Mom came up to me and gave me a hug. "It's okay, (Y/N). We know you miss him." She said, petting my hair. "But you know he would want you to give this place a chance."I nodded with a sigh. "I will, mom. I promise." I gave her a small smile and headed towards my room. I grabbed one of my bags and headed to the entrance of my dorm building.

'Room 217? Okay, let's see." I started checking the doors. I noticed Sam in one of the rooms but he was having some sort of staredown with his roommate so I didn't bother to interrupt. '214... 215... 216...-', "217..." I mumbled, standing outside my assigned room. I just stood there for a second, debating what I should do. 'Do I knock? Do I just walk in? What if no one's there?" After standing outside for way too long, I decided to knock, and then opened the door.

There was in fact a girl in there. She had beautiful tan skin, and dirty blonde hair. Her eyes were a light green colour. 'Wow, she's straight out gorgeous.' I thought, just standing there. " Are you my roommate?" She asked, popping my bubble of thoughts. "Yeah." Was all I mumbled. I noticed she had taken the right side of the room, so I went to the left side and put my bag down. "I'm Alice." the girl spoke up. I turned to her and saw she was holding her hand out. I looked from her to her hand and back up to her, reluctantly taking it and giving it a shake. "(Y/N)." I responded.

Alice really gave me some weird vibes, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. It seemed as Alice was about to say something, when we heard something outside. "Pretty girls! Hey, you. My son lives in this dorm." I looked out the window to see mom waving down different girls. "Excuse me." I mumbled as I ran out of the room.

"And he recently had his cherry popped!" I heard mom tell some girls, and they all laughed. 'I didn't need to hear that, but okay,' I sighed and went over to her. "Hey, mom!" I called, just as Sam and dad also ran over to her. Mom "introduced" me to them as well and kept talking. I leaned over to Sam, "What's wrong with her?" I whispered, "She ate brownies with weed in them." He whispered back. "Great." I muttered, as Sam and dad started dragging mom away. "Hey, their car is a talking robot!" Mom yelled and me and Sam froze. "No, like the GPS." Sam explained, "OnStar!" I blurted out, since it was the only GPS brand I knew about.

"Frisbee!" We heard mom yell and saw her wiggle her way out of dad's hold. "No, mom!" I yelled. "Dad, you just gonna let her run around the school?" Sam screeched, running after her, with dad right behind. We saw her full on sprint to some students throwing frisbee and she threw herself on one of them, tackling him to the ground. She was having some sort of tug-of-war with the boy, yelling "Mine!" over and over. Sam skidded to a halt, turning around to fake tie his shoes, and I rolled my eyes.

"Judy, Judy, just.. Just put it down." Dad ordered, "Mom, let go of the frisbees!" I yelled at her, holding her in place while dad pried the frisbees from her hands. "Hey, Professor, I'd do anything for an A." Mom said happily to dad. "All right, Grace Slick." Dad grumbled, lifting mom up and throwing her over his shoulder. "We got some snacks in the car. Let's go." It was pure chaos, trying to keep her in control, while making sure we got all her stuff, including her precious baby-booties.
