Dream's POV
"Dude that game was so fun, we have to play it again!" George grinned with a smile like no other.
I couldn't help but let a smile crawl up my cheeks.
"Too bad you suck at it, otherwise I would have given it to you" I beamed.
"What??!! You idiot, I actually hate you, I was so much better-" George turned to defend himself.
I struck a loud wheezy laugh, punching him playfully in the shoulder, still holding back an even bigger laugh than before.
"Ow! Okay now you're just being a baby, stop it" He whined clutching his arm as if it had just gotten shot.
"Alright fine you're not that bad, stop crying, I'll give you that. But we have to go eat dinner now." I called back turning towards the dining table in front of the kitchen.
"Okay, let me wash my hands, I'll be back" he nodded in reply, but stopped in his steps.
"Where's the bathroom again"
"To the left of the stairs" I said, sticking my hand to point towards the direction, looking back at the pretty face staring back.
"Thanks Dream" He smiled, heading towards the bathroom.
I still can't get over him calling me Dream, I never liked anyone calling me that but when he says it, it's like the whole words meaning changes
"Dream, where's George gone?" my mom peeks out from behind the kitchen table.
"Oh he just left to wash his hands" I said looking up to her, a little dazed.
"Okay well help me set up the table." She says gesturing to the table in front of her.
I waddle down from the living room across to the table and pick up some of the glasses and place them in front of each chair.
"So I see George caught on to the nickname" she smiled
"Yeah, he said he liked it" I admitted, red creeping up my face.
"See I told you this kid is not going to care. Not like your other friends. Keep him close" She responded.
"I know, he's special." I replied, smiling just thinking about him.
Before I could finish my thought, I heard clattering from behind me.
"I'm so sorry I was just looking at some photos" George quickly said, putting down the framed picture.
I turned even redder than before
"I hope it's not the cat poop picture" I pleaded in my head.
"Oh it's alright come on we're ready for dinner, hope you like spaghetti!" Mom reassured him.
He strolled towards the tables and took a seat beside me, then turned to look at the plate in front of him.
"It's one of my favorites" He smiled ahead at my mother.
