Dream
I stare at the back of Sapnap's head as we quietly make our way towards George's room.
"Hey Dream, can you stop staring at me while I'm doing this? It's like you're drilling holes at the back of my head with your eyes"
"Sorry."
We stop in our tracks as we reach his door. Sapnap takes a step away from the door.
"You wanna do this?" He says, signing towards the door.
"No."
Sapnap puts his hand on my shoulders and drags me towards the door.
"You're doing this."
"Why can't you?" I whisper trying to pull myself away.
"Cause he's your guest dumbass." Sapnap drops his hands and gives me a reassuring look.
"All you're doing, is waking him up. If you don't wake him up then he's gonna be pretty jet-lagged."
I rub my face, "Yeah but what if he's awake and he's uncomfortable that I'm the one to wake him up?"
"I'm sure he's asleep. Just do it, what's the worst that could happen?" Sapnap says annoyingly.
"He could hate me forever and ever?" I turn to look at him.
"Yeah, I think you've already made him think that." He sighs.
"You think?"
"I mean he has a memory right? You were a bit of an asshole." Sapnap laughs.
I turn to face the door, and take a deep breath.
My fingers tap against the door, the sound echoing down the hallway.
"Um, George...?" I whisper.
Nothing.
I face Sapnap, shrugging my shoulders.
"Maybe it's best to let him sleep." I said, pulling away from the door.
"Go in then."
"GO IN??!" I scream in a whisper.
"Yeah just open the door and ask. Your doors are like steel plates man, he probably can't even hear you."
I scoff, "Whatever."
I put my palm around the doorknob, slowly inching the door open.
I can vaguely make out George as my eyes adjust to the darkness in the room.
George's phone lays beside him. His hair covering the tips of his eyes, his hands curled up under his head and his legs tucked under his arms.
The small rays of sunlight left outside, pours into the room, barely filling it up.
I let out a smile, not realising that I haven't taken a breath since I saw him.
His eyes drifting in and out, like he was in a dream.
Cute.
"Hey creep, can you stop staring and wake up sleeping beauty?" Sapnap whispers.
For a moment, I forgot he was even here. I turned to give him the finger, when the bed rustled.
