Chapter 09 || Capture

(SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN SO LONG- I've been busy with school and I recently got grounded- anyways I hope you enjoy!)

Toyo laughs. "Sorry sorry, what and odd questions, am I right?" he says. Kurapika stays silent. "Anyhoo, you probably know why I'm here, so just come with me and no one else will get hurt, alright?" Toyo says, smirking. Gon goes infront of Kurapika, tending to protect his friend. "I'm not letting you take him." Gon says with an angry tone. Killua doesn't say anything, he doesn't know what to say. "That's a bummer, I even offered to do it gently. Oh well, that means I'll have to take him by force." Toyo says. Kurapika knew there was no point in fighting this, so he surrendered. "Gon, it's alright." Kurapika says, gaining Gon's attention. He gives Gon a quick nod and smile, then turns his attention to Toyo. "Theres no need to fight. Just, promise my friends and husbands safety and I'll come with you." Kurapika says. Toyo smiles. "Promise." Toyo says. "Kurapika-" Gon says confused. The moment Gon turns away, he's met with the feeling of being held back. "HEY-" Gon yells trying to get out of the holders grasp. The pain in Kurapika's back got worse and worse the more he thought, the more he moved, the more he heared. "Lets go, shall we?" Toyo says. One of the guys gave Kurapika a somewhat 'pill'. "Swallow both the pills. Their pain killers." the guy says. Kurapika does what he asks, not wanting them to hurt his friends. In reality, one of the pills is actually a pain killer, but the other was a sleeping pill. When Toyo was sure Kurapika was too lazy to get up, he told one of his guys to pick him up. As Toyo promised, he left the house without harming Gon, Killua, and Leorio. But he did tie them, so they wouldn't go aftter them. As Kurapika felt himself doze off, he faced his big house, and what he heard was only Gon's yelling, and the black van driving off with him.

Kurapika woke up with a slight headache. He woke up to see that they were still driving. Two guys were placed next to him. Though, they looked as if they were asleep. He very carefully used his nen to break free of the ropes that were holding his hands and feet. He saw that he had tape on his mouth, but he decided to wait to pull it off. He slowly and quietly searched in one of the guards pockets till he found what he was looking for. A gun. He checked if it was loaded, and luckily, it was. He positioned his aim towards the weel to where the driver was using to drive.  He waited a few seconds, they shot it. By the time everyone in the car heared it, Kurapika had broken the window. He slowly climed out, for the baby saftey. (Otherwise, hewould've ynked himself out of there lol) He took off the tape that was sticked on his mouth. He yelled for help. To his luck, he saw a light go on in someones house. It was a woman. She ran outside, serching for the voice. Kurapika yelled again, gaining her attention. "ARE YOU OKAY?" she yelled. (Dumb question but okay) "CALL 911." Kurapika yelled. The woman, in a panic, took out her phone and began to call. Kurapika instantly felt a little comfort, but not for long. He felt another sharp pain in his leg and with shock, yelled in pain. This startled the woman, and she instantly rushed to his side. "Oh my god, you've been shot! Hold on a second. Please don't move. I'm a doctor and I can help." she says, kneeling down infront of Kurapika's shot leg. "Okay. I'm gonna apply as mu-" she begins to say before stopping. Kurapika looks up and sees she has a look of horror on her face. She drops to the floor. He looks and sees she has been shot in the heart. He has a look of anger, and without his control, his eyes turn red. He has just seen a woman who tried to help him, get shot for no reason whatsoever. He looks behind him and sees Toyo looking at him, holding the gun that was used to shoot the innocent woman. "WHAT THE HELL." Kurapika yells. "Cmon. Don't be so angry! You didn't even know this woman. Theres no point in being angry with me." Toyo says, smiling. "DO YOU HAVE NO SHAME IN WHAT YOU JUST DID?!" Kurapika yells, anger building up by the second. Toyo taps his shin. "Nope! That woman had no use to me, so why should I care? It's not as if she did anything for me. Her life meant nothing to me. Just a little, annoying fly buzzing around me, over and over again." Toyo says. Kurapika was shocked. How could a human that just killed an innocent person, not be ashamed of themselves. He always wondered this.  "Your insane. This woman was a doctor. She helped so many lives, and you killed her for no damn reason. She had a life and she has a mother and a father. Maybe even sibilings. She might even have a family. Your disgusting." Kurapika says. Toyo puts his foot on Kurapikas shot leg, and pushes it. Kurapika slightly yells. "I advise you don't open your mouth anymore, Kurapika. Sometimes I forget how you could be such a smart ass. It's annoying." Toyo says. Two guys pick up Kurapika and tie him up again. Toyo takes out two pills and some water. "Swallow this." he says, putting it up in Kurapika's face. He didn't listen. Toyo takes out a gun, pointing it at Kurapika's face. "Swallow them or I will." Toyo says. Kurapika wasn't fazed. He knew Toyo wouldn't kill him. Not until he was satisfied. Kurapika stood completely still, not doing anything. "I forget how smart you are. Oh well." Toyo says. "Swallow it or I'll hurt them. Your precious friends you love. I can turn this car rght around and kill them right infront of your little face. I don't care if we're already 3 hours in." Toyo says. Of course, Kurapika didn't want him to hurt them. Their lives mattered more than his own. Kurapika opened his mouth. Toyo smiled, putting the pills onto Kurapika's tounge. He swallowed it. A few minutes later, he felt tired. The pills were both sleeping pills. He felt his body being caried back into the van. He is placed in the backseat again, being watched by two guys yet again. He feels his eyes wander into darkness as the can starts up again. He lays there, hopeless as an ant being smushed by a human.
