Chapter 04 || The Stalker

-Kurapika POV-

I sit up and sigh. "Well, I honestly don't know who this person is. They just started texting me and acted like he knew who I was." I say. He grabbed my phone and handed it to me to unlock. I unlock it and give it back. He goes to my messages and starts reading the texts they sent me. A few minutes later he blocked the number and gave me my phone back. "Don't talk to that number, ok?" he says. "Alright." I say. I continued doing random things on my phone since I was bored. I rubbed my stomach as I searched up random videos. "I'm going for a walk." I say getting up. "Want me to come with you?" he says. "No it's ok. You should finish your work." I say. "Well ok. Just please be safe." he says. "Yeah yeah." I say. I grab my coat and put it on. I bring my phone and head outside. It was chilly, so I grabbed a hat and scarf. I walk for a while until I felt like I was being watched. I kept turning around every once in a while to see if someone was following me, but I didn't see anyone. I was getting a little uncomfortable, so I started walking home. As I was getting close to home, I heard foot steps behind me, so I started speeding up. The person behind me started going faster too, so I started running. I was kinda at a disadvantage since I was pregnant and I'm not suppose to be running. I eventually made it to the house fast enough and when I turned around, I saw a black figure running my way. I slammed the door shut and tried locking the door. My fingers kept on shaking from the shock. I eventually locked the door. I took off my coat and slowly went upstairs. I go to my room and lay down on the bed as I let out a long sigh. "Is something wrong?" Leorio says. "No, why?" I say. "Oh nothing." he says, going back to working. I grab my book I was reading and turned to the page I had stopped at. 

-At Midnight-

I felt screen light hit my eyes as I wake up. I see that it was around 2:34am. I check my phone and see that an unknown number was calling me. I ignored it and groaned as I turned the other way. I put my arms around Leorio and cuddle with him. About 30 minutes later my phone rang again. By then I was getting really annoyed. Who would be calling me at this time? I check my phone and see that the same number was calling me again. It can't be the other number, right? Their number is blocked. I check the number and see it a different number this time. I pick it up. "Who is this?" I say. "Hello Kurapika." the guy on the phone says. My heart drops when I hear who's voice it is.
