I woke up in the dark room, sunlight was filtering in through the blinds. And Luke was no where in sight. I wanted to move, to get up, but just a slight movement of my legs was extremely painful. I wanted to cry, but no tears ever formed in my eyes.

I was still hurting, emotionally and physically. I closed my eyes tightly, and I saw a golden flower. A man, who looked suspiciously like Luke, was plucking off petals one by one, leaving nothing but the stem, which he squashed under his foot. I opened my eyes and looked into the window, the sun was up fully, so that meant that Percy had probably sent someone to search for me.

I tried to speak, but last nights screaming had destroyed my voice so I was barely audible. I mustered up all the courage in my heart and yelled like my life depended upon it: "HELP!"

There was thundering of footsteps and the door swung open. Jason was leading a squad of guards. He looked at me miserably and crouched down.

"Who did this?" He asked, looking at my destroyed body. I looked away. He grabbed a white bed sheet, wrapped me in like a burrito, and hooked his arms under my legs, lifting me up. The bed sheet was stained with red and my face was probably pale, so it probably looked like Jason was carrying a dead body. So, to show I was alive, I turned my head twice, and brushed hair out of my eyes.

"Stay calm, okay. I'm taking you to the doctor. Officer Greenhead, inform the Prince that I've discovered Lady Annabeth and I'm escorting her to the hospital wing." Jason ordered a guard. I tried to thank him, but my voice didn't allow it. Instead, I closed my eyes once more, trying to recover my voice.

"Jason," I managed. "I can walk." He looked at me worriedly and gently shook his head.

"No." He said. "You can't, and that's fine." He whispered, continuing his trek.

"Annabeth?" Leo hurried over, and looked at me, his eyes holding the same misery that Jason's did. I nodded and Leo looked over to the same blonde who was making out with Nico at the party yesterday. Jason passed me into Doctor Will's arms, and he took me into his office. He injected my neck with something and I fell asleep instantly.

I woke when the sun was going down, my body felt zapped of energy and my morale was lower than my blood pressure. Piper, Reyna, Rachel and Hazel were all surrounding my bed. Bianca was talking to Will and Nico was standing next to Hazel, trying to explain something to her. Leo was standing guard soberly by the door, Bianca went over there and kissed him, and she was trying to console him by stroking his cheek. Piper looked distraught and Reyna was wearing a murderous expression. Frank, Jason and Percy entered at once, and my heart leaped when I looked at Percy.

His hair was disheveled and his eyes were foggy, his shirt was crushed, his jacket was missing and his eyes had dark circles. Hazel walked over and said a few words to him, he nodded, though I could tell his attention wasn't there.

"I know," Piper began, looking at me softly. "That this sounds lame, but I'm really sorry for what happened."

"Yeah," Rachel agreed. "I'm so sorry we didn't do anything to protect you."

"I just want to get my hands on whoever did this to Annabeth. And then I'll beat the shit out of him." Reyna said angrily.

"Exactly!" Thalia agreed from a corner, where she was absorbed in talking to Nico and Will. I gulped, and felt my throat was dry.

"Water." I said, and even the small request hurt my throat. Piper nodded, and pressed a glass to my lips. The liquid burned my gullet, but my sore voice felt at ease.

"Annabeth," Thalia approached me. "I know this probably isn't the best time, but I need to know who did this, he deserves a punishment, and Jason and I will do our best to get him arrested." She looked at me expectantly. Percy, who had been silent all along, spoke up.
