Chapter 9

It was a quarter til 9 and i heard the doorbell ring. It was nicole and Ashton. You would think she would come alone but nah. She just had to bring Ashton along. "Hey guys", I said half smiling. "Well good-morning?", Nicole asked hugging me. I looked down and noticed I still had on my pajamas on and a tweety shirt. I did look a hot mess. "No it's goodnight. See, the moon's out", I said laughing. Ashton and I hugged and he made himself comfortable on the couch. "So. How was sixflags", I asked Nicole and Ashton looked at each other. "Should we tell her?", Nicole said. "You tell her", Ashton said with a smirk. "Tell me what?", i said sitting next to nicole.

"So. Your boy jay showed up", Ashton started. "And he was lookin for you", Nicole said.

"What ya'll tell him?", I said.

"Well..Ashton said it was none of his business where you was at and i was like just know she's alive", Nicole explained.

"And..", I said. "Ashton said a slick comment and jay got mad. One thing led to another comment and they both started fighting until a officer broke it up", Nicole explained. "You missin a part", Ashton said to Nicole. I looked at nicole's face and she looked down. "What? What else happened?", I asked. "He wasn't there alone. Jay was at sixflags with another girl."

The room suddenly got quiet. I couldn't believe what i was hearing. " this all makes sense. No wonder he told me not to go. He wanted to chill with a hoe", i said filled with anger and rage. "You know what? I ain't even mad. I'm done with him", I said getting up. "Why? Because he cheatin on you or because of the situation you in?", Ashton said. "What situation? ", I asked him.

Last time I checked, I didn't tell Ashton about my abusive relationship with jay. I looked at Nicole. "Okay. I told him."

I put my hands on the face. Why would she do something like that?

"I'm not keeping this a secret for you anymore, cece. I can't watch you still go through this. I kept it a secret and look where that got you. You almost died!", nicole said.

As much as i was embarrassed, Nicole did the right thing. I want to get out of it. Tears fell from my face. Ashton wiped my tears away and cupped my face.

"You deserve more... with me", Ashton said. "Be mine."

"No Ashton", I yelled and pulled away.

"Enough said", he said and walked out the door

"I'm sorry girl but damn. You are so hard-headed. You just let the guy that put his whole feelings for you, leave. You are so indecisive. You don't know what you want. You claim you tired

Of dealing with jay's bull but yet you turn down a perfectly good guy. For what? Look, i guess what they say is true. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped. Can't force you to leave jay. You gotta want it for yourself. There's plenty of girls out here fallin for Ashton but yet he wants you! You turned him down twice! Now, he's just done asking you to be his girl. You've officially lost him. Your loss", nicole said and left out of anger.
