By the time Michael dropped me home, I was all geeked cause this is the actual first time that I'm going on a date with Ashton. "Thanks for dropping me here",I said getting out the car. "Anytime", Michael said. After Michael left, I rung Nicole's door bell and it took a while for anyone to answer. Finally, Nicole answered. "Hey girl. What took you so long to get here?", She said hugging me. "What took you so long to answer the Damn door?."

We both laughed. "You're definitely feeling better. I can barely see the black eye anymore."

"Yeah. Michael said the same thing", I said taking a seat on the sofa. "Where is every body?"

"Oh my mom and dad went on some kind of cruise celebrating their 25th anniversary. The rest of the kids went to a friend's house. I'm just here chillin", she said sipping on some juice. "You want anything to drink ?", She asked. "Nah I'm good. Mrs. Wilson just made the best breakfast ever and I'm still full."

"Tell me about it. That woman can cook."

"I know right. So... I called Ashton."

"Yeahh. I heard what happened. He came in here talking about 'My girl said yes'. I'm like who's your girl ? And she said yes to what?"

I laughed. "Really ?", I asked. "Yeah girl. So let's get you ready for that date you got tonight."

"Its definitely not a date", I corrected. "Well. It's only you & him so technically, it is."

"Whatever." We laughed. Nicole and I first went to get our nails done. She got nails. Next, we went shopping. We had soo many bags that we had random people helping us put th in the car. When Nicole & I go shopping, we usually take all day. It was already 6:13 p.m. & we had to get home for me to get ready for this so called 'date'. After we put everything in the house, Nicole said, "Go get dressed. I'll get the rest of the bags in the trunk."
"Alright. thanks." I ran upstairs to the guest room and took a shower. Afterwards, I called on nicki to help me pick out my outfit. "What you think I should wear?", I asked her. "Wear a cute dress."
I gave her a face. "To the movies?"
"Wear some skinnies , a blouse and some heels", she suggested. I definitely thought that was too much. I picked up a sexy red pencil dress & my black blazer and paired it up with some heels.

My natural hair was curly so I decided to wear it in its natural state. I put on my pearl earrings and necklace. Nicole came in the room and examined my outfit. "Girl you definitely slayin",she said. I smiled and said, "Thanks. can you do my make up? I don't want any bruises to show."
"Alright girl I got you." As Nicki did my make up, I took a glance at my phone and it was 7:36 which was good cause nicki had time to finish my make up. "Okay, Look in the mirror," Nicole said. "Wow. I like it. You think Ashton will be able to tell?"
"No. He won't notice the eye. I mean right now, it's invisible."

I took a double-look in the mirror to see if I really did look cute and I did. Just then, Nicole said," I think I see Ashton's car pulling up now." I sat on her bed and said, "I'm nervous."
"Don't be. Its just Ashton and I'm proud of you for finally stepping up to this. You'll be fine", she assured me. When the bell rings, I'm like 'omg'. I think I got butterflies in my stomach. Nicole and I went downstairs. Ashton gave Nicole a friendly hug and asked," Alright. Where my girl at?"

That was definitely my cue to put all my nervousness behind me and come out. Ashton had a priceless smile on his face while seeing me walk towards him. "Hey Pretty lady", he said while laying a kiss on my cheek. I felt my body tense up. "Hi", I said back. "You look amazing."
"Thanks", I said smiling. "Allright lovebirds. Have fun. Get out", Nicole said laughing and closing the door behind us.
