Tbh the day's not that gloomy
And tbh there are better things
outside that closed door
So maybe if you're blessed enough
to have all your senses intact
Just get to that window
and draw the curtains back
It'll be blinding at first.. But you'll get used to it
And tbh it's one of the best "used to it"
So now do you see the bright greenery
Or maybe even the colourful autumn leaves
And tbh it's more than what meets the eye
Cuz if you've got a view
Everything's a landscape
Close your eyes for a moment
Breath in a fresh batch of air
Hold it in for sometime
You feel quite uneasy.. I bet!
So now just let it go
Along with your hurt
Just let it go.. And embrace the present
Don't you hear the chirping quite clearly now?
Or maybe even the honking of cars
But whatever it may be
I bet it makes you feel more alive
( if ya wanna there's always a choice)
So cut the strings attached
Tbh the door's always been open
Just gather the courage
And step right into the open!!
Don't be sad cuz you're nothing
I know this may sound cliche
But you really don't need to be anyone but yourself!
Dive into the waters of self reflection
What would you do and be
if you had no strings attached to you!!
Tbh the day's so bright
You're gonna miss it once the sun says good bye
But that's the fun of goodbyes
You'll appreciate it more
The next time when it shows
And you'll say
Tbh this is the brightest I've known✨
