This is a story about teenage girl,
living just a simple fun life
nothing like the high school drama,
she used to watch on the big screens.
Her friends her soulmates
school her hangout place,
tied her goals to her heart like an anchor
and sailed the sea ..
This is a story about a really nice girl,
tryna solve everyone's problems
as if it were her own
but time passed as it always does and
the world seemed much greater than it ever was
and so did the mess
it became so clear and
it came with such a pain
cuz this time the broom wasn't in her hand..
This is a story about a grateful girl
so, so lucky to have all the pleasures
but was very, very sorry
cuz the rose tinted glasses broke
Scared to read the paper,
switching through the news
wondering what happened to the
wonderful world,
why is it becoming more and more difficult
to differentiate between hell and earth
This story is about a girl,
tired feeling helpless,
wishing being nice wasn't sewed to her skin
happy realisations aren't a thing
This story is about a girl,
she never gave up being nice,
she stayed clean through this mess
and then shined ever so bright
But some people throw rocks
at anything that shines
maybe they're blinded living in dark
she tried turning them to gemstones
but all in vain...
This story is about a girl
who never knew giving up in any way.
