As we walked back to our boarding house after practice, I was trying to dry my hair with a towel when TJ caught up with me. "Great practice today," he said with a smile. "I made friends with some of them, Ransom and Ryan to be exact," he added. I stopped for a moment to recall what happened earlier. "I thought they were mean, but it turns out they were awesome," I replied with a smile. It was actually a relief to get to know some of them.

"So it wasn't so bad at all, right?" he asked me, full of enthusiasm. I nodded in agreement. It was a good feeling to have some friends on the team.

As we arrived at our boarding house, it was already 5:30 and my stomach was growling like a bear. TJ noticed and chuckled. "Wanna grab a bite?" he offered, scratching the back of his head. I nodded eagerly, my hunger taking over.

"But can we go after we shower? I smell bad," I added, feeling self-conscious. TJ looked at me mischievously and said, "Oh, there's 'we' now?" I rolled my eyes, knowing what he meant. "Mmm-hmm, clever," I responded with a smile, and we both chuckled.

We quickly headed to our room to grab our towels and toiletries before heading to the showers. It felt good to rinse off the sweat and grime from the intense practice, and I could feel my muscles relaxing. After we were done, we got dressed and headed out to grab some food.

We walked to a nearby food stall and ordered some grilled chicken and rice. As we waited for our food, we chatted about the practice and the game plan for our upcoming match. I was grateful to have TJ as my teammate and friend, as he always had a positive attitude and was a great motivator.

When our food arrived, we dug in eagerly, savoring the flavors of the well-cooked meal. "This is delicious," I said, as I took another bite. TJ nodded in agreement, his mouth full. We continued eating in silence for a while, just enjoying the food and each other's company.

As we finished our meal, I felt content and energized for the next day's practice. It was great to have some friends on the team and to know that we were all working towards a common goal. TJ and I walked back to our boarding house, feeling satisfied and ready for the challenges ahead.

As soon as I shove my training backpack into my bed, I grab my towel and remove my T-shirt before moving to the shower room. I was playing Kiss me more by Doja Cat Ft. SZA from Spotify.

I'm eagerly anticipating Elliot's FaceTime call as I finish my shower. It's always nice to see him and catch up on each other's day. Just as I'm about to get dressed, I hear TJ's voice outside the door. He's shouting for me to come out as he's hungry. I can't help but feel nervous as I answer the call from Elliot, wondering if he heard TJ's voice.

As Elliot greets me with a compliment, I can see he's dressed up nicely for his night out. He's always handsome to me, and I can't help but smile at him. However, my smile quickly fades as I hear TJ shouting in the background. Elliot's raised eyebrows tell me he heard it too, and I can't help but feel guilty for not telling him earlier that TJ is my roommate and teammate.

I try to explain to Elliot calmly that I was planning to tell him about TJ tonight, but he's understandably upset. I can see the disappointment on his face when I tell him that TJ is my roommate, but he quickly becomes angry when he finds out we're going to grab a bite to eat together.

I can feel my stomach grumbling as I'm starving, and I need to go and eat with TJ. I tell Elliot that I have to go, and he sounds jealous and upset. It's frustrating that he doesn't trust me, but I can see that he's just trying to be overprotective. I suggest that he FaceTime me while I'm eating with TJ to ease his worries, and he agrees.

As I step out of the shower room, TJ is waiting for me, and I can tell he knows what's going on. Just as I suspected, Elliot calls again, and I answer, excited to have him join us. Elliot greets TJ over the phone, and he replies calmly, knowing what's going on. Elliot suggests joining us for dinner, and TJ agrees, but I explain that we'll be FaceTiming him instead.

TJ assures Elliot that he can trust him with me, and I can't help but feel grateful for having a friend like him. Elliot seems at ease, and I can tell that he's starting to trust me more. As we sit down to eat, I can't help but feel relieved that everything worked out. It's nice to have people in my life that care about me, and I'm grateful for Elliot's love and protection.

TJ and I walked to a diner called Roadside Diner.

As I walked into the restaurant, the aroma of the delicious food being cooked immediately caught my attention

As I walked into the restaurant, the aroma of the delicious food being cooked immediately caught my attention. My stomach started to grumble and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the food. The locals dining in seemed to be enjoying their meals, and I couldn't help but feel envious of them.

Sitting at our table, I pulled out my phone and dialed Elliot. I felt both special and embarrassed at the same time for calling him during my dinner, but it was my idea, so I went with it. TJ volunteered to order for me, given my situation. I remembered telling Elliot to trust me and hang out with his friends because he'll surely miss out on a lot of fun. But he told me he'd catch up with them some other time, and I couldn't help but feel frustrated.

I blurted out, "You're acting childish and stupid." But before I could say anything else, Elliot interrupted me, "I was acting this way because I freaking love you! you know that?" I was taken aback and blushed hard like a tomato.

As we waited for our food, TJ arrived with our order, and I noticed Elliot was still on the call, observing us. "You look flustered," TJ told me, and I could feel my face getting even redder. Elliot chuckled and added, "Because of me." TJ's teasing didn't help the situation, and I couldn't help but feel awkward.

Finally, Elliot told me that he was going to hang out with his friends, and I was relieved to hear this. "Okay, take care and have fun, and don't do anything stupid, okay!?" I reminded him. He nodded before dropping the call.

As we ate, TJ asked me, "How is it that you let him hang out with his friends like you trust him so much, but he doesn't trust anyone around you?" His question made me think, and I realized that I didn't want to be the reason why Elliot would miss out on spending time with his friends. "I mean, I trust him, yes, but he knew his friends before me," I explained.

"You think so low of yourself, Apol," TJ said, and I couldn't help but agree with him. But despite my insecurities, I trusted Elliot completely.

Feeling full from the delicious food, I suddenly realized that Elliot didn't ask me how my day went today. It made me feel somewhat sad, but I knew he was busy and I didn't want to bother him. As we left the restaurant, I couldn't help but wonder if I was being too easy-going and if it was affecting my relationship with Elliot.
