Elliot's POV

I woke up feeling terrible, my head throbbing with pain and my stomach churning with nausea. It didn't take long for me to remember why I felt this way; I had gotten drunk the night before. As I groggily tried to piece together the events of the previous night, a memory of my boyfriend's words flashed through my mind. TJ De Falco, our team captain, had been getting too close to my boyfriend lately, and it made me feel incredibly jealous and anxious. I had noticed the way TJ looked at my boyfriend, the way he touched him during huddles. It was clear that he was into him. This made me feel extremely insecure about my relationship with my boyfriend, especially since TJ was living with us under the same roof.

As I looked around the room, I realized that I was in a female's room, and it was clear from the color of the walls and bedsheets that it was Camile's room. Camile was a friend of ours, and she had been there for me when my relationship with my boyfriend had ended. I had ended up in her bed last night, and I couldn't help but feel guilty about it. I quietly got out of bed and put on my clothes, trying not to wake Camile up. As I left her house, I realized that she must have driven us there instead of me taking my motorcycle. I checked my phone and saw that my boyfriend had called me multiple times the night before. Despite feeling guilty about sleeping with Camile, I didn't feel guilty about ignoring my boyfriend's calls.

As I rode my motorcycle home, I couldn't help but think about TJ and my boyfriend. How did they end up playing for the same team in Balboa? I decided to call Ivan, TJ's best friend, to see if he knew anything about it. Ivan was surprised to hear that TJ was playing for Balboa, and he said that TJ hadn't told anyone about it. I couldn't help but feel hurt that my boyfriend didn't tell me about this either. Ivan asked me if I was jealous, and I denied it, but he saw right through me. We talked about my night with Camile, and he asked if I had talked to my boyfriend yet. I told him that I was ignoring him.

As the night wore on, I received a notification that my boyfriend had uploaded a story on Instagram. It was a boomerang of the road, and the caption read, "I wonder where we're heading?" I couldn't help but wonder where he was going and who he was with. The jealousy and insecurity that had been gnawing at me all day came rushing back, and I felt a pit in my stomach. I didn't know what to do or how to confront my boyfriend about this, but I knew that I couldn't ignore my feelings any longer.

Apol's POV

Jumping on the trampolines was a new experience for me. I never thought that it could be so much fun. We've been at the establishment for about an hour now when we noticed a gathering of people at the course attraction. I saw a group of guys setting up a competition, and I immediately became intrigued. They were going to run the obstacle course like the American Ninja Warrior or Wipe Out. The fastest person to finish the obstacle course would be the winner.

The course was quite challenging, with a few difficult obstacles like those mushroom steps that were far away from each other. As they were looking for their last competitor, I raised my hand, and everyone looked in my direction. I grabbed TJ's hand and told the commentator that TJ would be their last competitor. TJ looked at me in shock, his eyes wide open, and he said, "What? Oh hell no!" He was reluctant to participate, but I pinched his shoulders and forced him to join.

Out of embarrassment, he had no choice but to participate in the game. The competition began, and the first player made his run. He was steady but took his time in some of the courses. He finished with a time of one minute and 21 seconds, and everyone cheered for him. I looked at TJ, and his forehead was wrinkled. He was trying to figure out how to work on some of the obstacles. He then glanced in my direction and muttered, "I hate you for doing this." I smiled widely and gave him a peace sign. He rolled his eyes and smiled crazily.

Three more players did their run, and the time to beat was 54 seconds. I was looking at TJ, and he looked excited. "Go TJ, you got this!" I cheered. His timer started, and he jumped right to the first trampoline. He then hopped past the trampoline block, landed on another trampoline, and backflipped to the platform, just as others did. We were cheering for him as he composed himself and prepared for the next set of courses.

He grabbed the first rope, took the other, and then used the other rope to land on the platform. He needed to jump from one mushroom step to the other, and he did it like he was just running. I couldn't believe how good he was. His next obstacle was the monkey bars, and it was a good thing he was tall, so he went easy on it. He was close to finishing, but he was about to face the most challenging part of the course, the sidewall climb. He jumped to the trampoline, took a grab at the wall, and then slowly maneuvered his hands sideways to get to the platform. I was cheering him on the whole time. He made it to the platform and needed to slide down to finish the course.

He finished the course, and everyone was cheering for him. His timer said one minute, meaning he lost the game, but it was a great hustle and a great performance by him. He reached out for a hug, which I accepted. "That was awesome TJ! I'm impressed," I praised him. He tightened the hug and said, "Don't put me in the spotlight again, okay?" I chuckled and replied playfully, "But you liked it, right? Haha."

We stayed there for a while, trying more trampoline obstacles before we felt tired and decided to return. When we got our stuff from the locker, I checked my phone and noticed ten missed calls from my boyfriend. I decided not to call him back and return the feeling to him. We then prepared to go back to our boardinghouse.
