The boys got back to Riko's house. They were silent throughout the entire time, the tension between them almost physically present. Aomine hated Kagami even more now. He couldn't understand what Kuroko saw in him, he was a literal pain in the ass.

Kise handed Akashi's crystal to him. The bracelet formed, tying itself around the redhead's wrist. He looked at it with a smile, finally relieved that he could achieve his true powers now. The boy touched it, without knowing what would this bring. His head was suddenly pierced by a sharp pain. His eyes were glowing in red. Akashi fell down, holding his head that felt like it was going to explode. The last thing he heard was someone calling his name, before he passed out.

Akashi woke up at the Miracle tree. He couldn't remember how he got there. When his vision cleared, he saw seven people around him. They weren't the usual people he was used to seeing on this island.

- Who are you? And why am I here?

No one responded, no one even looked at him. He thought that was very odd. The boy stood up and tried to touch the shoulder of the boy next to him. His hand went through it.

- Good afternoon, Chosen ones! It's a pleasure to have you here...

A creature popped out of nowhere and started speaking to them. Akashi still couldn't understand what was going on, mainly because of his dizziness. He looked around once again. Two familiar figures stood before his eyes- Riko and Momoi. Akashi understood now. He was seeing the past for the first time.

Everyone got themselves a stone. His gaze hooked on "the sight" holder. He looked so harmless, so normal. This was the guy they were supposed to fight with?

Akashi followed them inseparable. He saw them exploring, building a shelter, finding their crystals... Everyone was interesting in their own way. There was this guy who was a holder of "the strength" named Kiyoshi Teppei. Apparently, Riko was totally into him. She was always by his side, making sure he had everything he needed. An interesting one was Hyuuga Junpei. He had an ability which Akashi had never seen before. Hyuuga was able to control time, returning it, reversing it, stopping it. It was a shame that the tree didn't bring out this stone again.

Hyuuga Junpei wasn't their leader, but he surely was far more respected than Anrokuzan. He acted like a guardian angel to all of them, making him an important part of keeping them together and working well.

Everything was going more than fine. They were having a strong relationship, making them the most powerful they have been, almost ready for the war... until Riko found Kiyoshi Teppei drowned. This great tragedy shook everything they have build. Everyone started suspecting each other, making scenarios, assumptions, the trust was completely broken. Riko was a ghost. She couldn't bear the death of the boy she loved. One night, she excavated his grave, desperate to bring him back to life. The girl placed her hands on his silent heart, turquoise light coming out of them. She gave everything she had, but unfortunately, the thing she wanted to achieve was way out of her capabilities.

Kiyoshi got back to the shelter, holding Riko's dead body in his hands. Everyone was shaken again. They didn't know if they should be happy for Teppei or sad for Riko. Junpei was devastated. He couldn't handle more of it. The boy felt responsible for the others' well- being. That was just his nature. He didn't know what will happen if he tried to return the time and save everyone. Most of his time- traveling wasn't affecting the events' outcome, at least not permanent, so a thing like bringing a person back to life was risky. Despite this, he was going to do it.

The boy used his all to make things right. After a long session of flashbacks and messing up with the time, he fell down, so exhausted that he couldn't feel his body. Riko and Kiyoshi were alive, that's what mattered to him.

Everything had a price. He succeeded, doing his best to help his beloved friends, but of course, not unpunished. Hyuuga Junpei became paralyzed for life. With him barely alive, the team started falling apart. There was no one to keep them together like they were used to.

The war came. The six Chosen ones, although separated, managed to fulfill their duty. This was a chance for them to get back together, to remember the old times, but the happiness didn't last long.

Anrokuzan killed Junpei in front of everyone. The others' anger was overflowing. They couldn't forgive him for taking away the only person who cared for all of them so much. Unfortunately, no one was a match for Anrokuzan. Momoi saved her ass by becoming his slave and Riko managed to escape, hiding deep in the woods.

Akashi woke up panting and covered in sweat. Everyone was gathered around him. He looked at Riko with his still frightened eyes.

- I saw your past...
