The Miracle Island

The Glowing Stones

The darkness occupied the sky. Millions of shiny stars appeared and made the island even more beautiful. The boys, all exhausted from exploring it and building a place to stay, were asleep. The summer in the island was really hot, but this night there was a chilly breeze, that made their sleep as good as it can be on a pile of leaves.

On the other side of the island was the Dark palace. Hanamiya was sitting on one of the balconies and rotated his flute in one hand. He had just reported about the arrival of the Chosen ones to his Master. Hanamiya couldn't sleep, despite the relaxing breeze, so he started playing some music on the flute.

Kuroko woke up from something like steps around them. He felt them getting closer, so after he was sure he wasn't just dreaming,  the blue haired started waking up the other boys.

- What the fuck, Kuroko!?

- Aomine- kun, listen!

Kuroko's voice was quiet and nervous. Aomine sighed and looked at him with a frustrated look, but then he heard it too. Heavy footsteps of something that was getting near them.

- Oi, everyone, wake up!

The boys started to stir slowly, but then immediately heard the possible danger and got up.

- I'm going to check. -Midorima stated.

He peaked his head outside of their little shelter. At first he saw nothing, but then all of a sudden, a bear's claw appeared right in front of his face.

- That's a fucking bear!

Midorima whispered and got back in.

- If we are quiet, it shouldn't attack us. – Supposed Akashi

Right after these words, the bear roared and hit the shelter with force.

- Oh shit... now what?

- If we stay here, we could get crushed by the woods, or the bear could enter.

Akashi started thinking of a plan. Maybe running was stupid, but that's what he was driven to do the most.

- Listen, everyone! After my signal, we start running.

- Running? That's funny, we won't outspeed a bear, stupid Akashi!

- We are the Chosen ones! We can beat a bear!

Aomine hit his forehead with his palm. Akashi was the weirdest guy he had ever seen.

- Trust me, everyone!

Eventually, everyone nodded. There was something superior about Akashi. Even Aomine couldn't oppose him for long.

- 3...2...1... RUN!

The boys got out of the shelter as fast as they could and started running up the nearest hill. The bear didn't follow them right after, maybe because of confusion? No one would've known. No matter what was in the bear's head, it didn't last long and the animal started chasing them.

- What is your plan, Akashi?!

- Just run and wait for it.

- Wait for what? To be eaten? Maybe you were right that I am going to die!

- Aomine- kun, believe in us!

Kuroko placed his hand on Aomine's shoulder.

- You too, huh?

After this, the boys were quiet. The Creature was getting closer and they started to feel tired. Kise wanted to believe, but his patience was running out. Were they really going to die?
