When people say if you want to find what you lost, stop looking for it and it will appear, Jungkook didn't think it was meant for him.

Because he didn't lose Kim Taehyung so why is he here, at the training ground for new recruits, when he should be at the lab??

"Taebear!"

Taehyung turned, only to be slammed into the next second by a very energetic Jimin who has yet to turn his claws back to human hands, but very carefully kept them away from the researcher's body.

Jimin quickly morphs them back then effortlessly lifts Taehyung off the ground by his middle. Jungkook, along with other trainers and recruits who looked over, had the view of how Jimin's hands was more than enough to wrap around the slender waist.

And they all couldn't look away from the surprisingly sweet smile when the cool-looking researcher burst into uncontrollable giggles, "s-stop, you're tickling me!"

Jungkook may think of Taehyung as a know-it-all but he doesn't deny that the researcher is easy on the eyes with his honey skin and the adorable way his eyes scrunch together in laughter. Jungkook gritted his teeth. He is even more annoyed now.

Jimin grins widely and releases Taehyung, already dragging him to one of the many pits in the training ground, "I've been able to unleash more of the dragon abilities since you made that stabiliser for me and I have to show you what I did today. Watch!"

Jimin deposits Taehyung outside the pit and leaps towards the centre, leathery wings two-thirds of his size sprouting from his back not strong enough to fly him far, but more than able to help him suspend in the air for him to make the five metre jump. He then turned back, making sure Taehyung was watching him before Jimin spread his arms wide.

Flames burst forth from his palms and gathered in the air into a ball, then burst apart again, chasing each other in circles, forming a fire vortex the height of a three storey building.

Jimin's audience ooh-ed and aah-ed, and the weredragon added more flames and heat just to coax more cheers. Taehyung had to step back to put a bearable distance between them.

"How was it!" Jimin jumps outside the pit next to Taehyung expectantly who immediately showered him with praises. He knows how much Jimin likes to be acknowledged and Taehyung did find the display really cool.

The pair continued walking around the training ground while Taehyung jotted down his observations. That is what he is here for, to observe the combat abilities of the agents currently assigned to him, and to make recommendations and eventually work on increasing their abilities or reducing their weaknesses by manipulating their cells.

He might be able to encourage Jimin's wings to grow more while keeping the dragon blood stable. One day Jimin might be able to fly which would send the weredragon over the roof both metaphorically and literally. Taehyung smiles. He would like to see that.

"Who's that hot cutie?" A recruit asked.

"You mean agent 87 or Doctor Kim?" Another recruit replied.

A recruit nods wisely, "they don't look alike but it is true that they both are in that category."

"Doctor Kim you say? I don't mind if he is the one cleaning my cuts. Let's talk about him first, I haven't seen him before," Another recruit joins in the gossip bubble.

"He's not really a doctor but a researcher with a doctorate in biological transformation. You see how we have mutations in physical abilities or magical abilities? He is part of the small group with a mutation in his brain and was discovered by and joined Galactica when he was very young. We would get to meet him when he is called in to work on our cells or evaluates us on our performance. Pretty much every agent would go through his department."
