Mark couldn't stop the smile spreading across his face as he nears his boyfriend's room. Five more steps and he could touch the doorknob.

Two more steps and the door opens, his boyfriend with arms wide open and a matching lovesick grin on his face.

Hoseok pulls Mark into his room, puts his bag down onto the couch, then goes back to kiss his boyfriend against the door, all under a second. Ah, the benefits of moving at the speed of light. Have Hoseok mentioned before how thankful he is to Taehyung about putting him in the ability enhancement programme?

Hands roam all over and both of them don't think they'll ever have enough of each other.

"I missed you," Mark whispered between their kiss and furniture shifted out of the way as they moved towards the bedroom.

"You really have to move in with me so that I can see you whenever I want to," Hoseok replied. Whenever his mind is and isn't free, Mark is always in his thoughts. Maybe it would get better if the real thing is by his side.

"Hmmm actually...I have my own room now, so I won't be moving in-ah...don't bite- but I can stay over more. Or you can come over too."

"For real? How?" Hoseok asked and a wave of joy only precipitable by Mark sweeps the room.

"Youngjae swapped rooms with me and he doesn't have a roommate. Hey, when did you-"

Hoseok wriggled his brows playfully, not at all apologetic for removing their shirts when Mark was distracted, not that he would be fast enough to stop him, and already on the bed with Mark straddling him. He teased, "this is a very beautiful view."

Then Hoseok really looked at Mark, just admiring.

"Don't...don't look at me like that," Mark said softly. Like how there is room for only him and no one else, as if he is the most amazing person Hoseok had ever seen.

"Like what?" Hoseok asked, smiling up at his lover, although he knows he doesn't have to spell out how much Mark means to him.

Instead of answering, Mark leans down for a kiss which Hoseok gladly reached up to receive. This time, their lips parted tenderly and slowly.

Hoseok stroked Mark's back in a comforting manner and Mark just melts into his embrace.

"You okay? I saw the news about Lexicon," Hoseok said, giving Mark one more peck on the lips after their kiss ended.

Mark sighed, laying his head over Hoseok's chest as he lets out his feelings of vulnerability, despair and fear from the memories brought on by the news in little waves.

And like the first time, the night of the welcome party of recruits, he focuses on Hoseok's heartbeat to calm himself down.

The morning after the party

It was not a romantic night for Hoseok and Mark. In fact, it wasn't very good for Hoseok's heart which stuttered and beat rapidly from shock when he saw an extra figure covered from head to toe in his blanket.
