JayB ran. He heard himself puff, his muscles protest, his sweat almost obscuring his vision, and he still ran.

He ran even faster, the wetness on his back a mix of his sweat and the thing that had kept him going— Youngjae's blood.

JayB didn't question Youngjae who told him which turns to take and which doors to open. Both of them had no choice now, as more of Lexicon's Extraordinaries and Ordinaries alike joined in the chase after Youngjae and JayB. Capturing this pair of runaways would surely grant them a handsome reward from the Twins.

JayB kept his mouth shut, only opening it to fill his lungs with oxygen so that he can run faster to safety. If not for himself, he is doing it for Youngjae who is bleeding out on his back and whose voice is getting thinner and softer.

God, he missed Youngjae's boisterous laugh and voice, which manages to sound bright and sweet even when shouting.

If only JayB wasn't so stupid, maybe he would be hearing Youngjae sing in their dormitory at this moment.

JayB could have given up his life for that.

"P-past that door and we will be s-safe. Run..." Youngjae urged.

Youngjae turned his head back and with every ounce of energy he had, temporarily blinded their pursuers who fell and trampled over each other.

JayB pushed open the door and Youngjae sighed. Finally. They come face to face with their friend who pulled them close with welcoming arms.

But they are not safe yet, not with the Twins and their army within sight.

The fight had already started, which explained why there were less guards, giving Youngjae and JayB had the chance to breakout from their room.

The Twins were livid. Some of their people were down, partly thanks to Yugyeom, Bambam, and Jackson who were immune to their poison.

Then they saw Youngjae and JayB join Galactica alongside Mark and Taehyung.

Suji screeched as she pointed at Youngjae and Taehyung, "exterminate the seer and the violet telekinetic user!"

JayB stood in front of them in a defensive stance. He has no idea what is with the Twins' obsession with Youngjae and now Taehyung—why is a researcher here and did they say violet telekinetic user?— but he will not repeat his mistake of dragging Youngjae into the mess. He will protect them if it is the last thing he does.

A large portion of Lexicon's Extraordinaries turned their attention towards Youngjae and Taehyung.

"You'd have to go through me," Jungkook growled, panting slightly from rushing over to where Taehyung is. There is no way they are going to touch his boyfriend.

Joohyun, Suji, and another Extraordinary from Lexicon flew above the crowd in a translucent bubble, seemingly a shield of sorts. If they can't get Choi Youngjae, they will destroy him.

These Galactica agents may be strong, but from the start of the universe, twins, triplets, and the like had always carried a mysterious power. Even more so for witches like them.

Suji and Joohyun held hands, their powers immediately doubling.

Youngjae and Jungkook tensed further. This will not be an easy fight.

Youngjae pointed to the Extraordinary behind the twins, "be careful, that man's shield is highly defensive. Almost nothing can go past or break through it."

"Let's try that," Jungkook said and threw an energy blast at the shield.

"How can that be?" He muttered, eyes wide, when the blast slipped off the shield like melted butter on a plate.
