I'm watching everything happen from one step back
seeing all of these people wishing my heartbeat flat
a room full of mirrors in a time machine and a snack
to keep my sensors busy, eyes almost matte
the moment I am in is the mere flashback
my heart went boom and my brain splat
while the feeling settles, vision jet black
