Sorry for the long update, I've been trying to figure out something interesting to write for this that everyone will enjoy.

I'd like to think this chapter is one of the darkest I've written in awhile.

Comment your thoughts if you'd like :)

Also I'd like to say thank you because my story has reached over 20,000 reads and has gotten over 1,000 votes aswell, I cannot begin to believe that. I got so excited when I saw that, so again thank you so much!

Hope you like this chapter :)

Heavy breathing, horrid screams, grasping hands, reaching for anything in the area.

That's all Laura had noticed as she traveled down the narrow corridor, making her way throughout the warehouse.

"LAURA!" A voice shouts causing Laura to quickly cover her ears due to the loudness of the voice.

Laura lets out a scream as she begins running down the corridor.

Continuous screams and shouts rang through the young girls ears as she continued running, to where? She didn't know, but she was going to get away, or at least die trying.

Finally after what seemed to be hours of running, Laura finally came across a brick wall, a door in the center.

Laura turned around, seeing a dark shadow following closely behind her, she let out a quiet whimper before opening the door and running through whatever room that the door lead to, shutting the door behind her. She looked around for a brief second, taking in her surroundings.

The room was blood red, no other color stood out to the young girl. She spins around, looking for anything to help her out.

Other than the red walls, nothing in the room seemed to pop out at the girl, she continued breathing eratically, unable to help the terrifying sensation that although she was the only one in the room, she was somehow being watched.

She felt tears burning her eyes and felt the need to scream, she just wanted to get out of this place.

"Someone! Please! Help me!" She shouts hoping someone, relatively good, would hear her and hopefully rescue her in her time of need.

She suddenly hears light scratches on the door she just ran through, and the sound did not seem to have come from a human.

Laura looks around the room looking for another door or at least somewhere to hide.

To her luck she noticed a small door that looked to be smaller than 4 feet tall, but at least she'd have somewhere to go.

She got down on her knees and slowly pushed the door open, seeing nothing my darkness, she started to doubt going inside.

Suddenly the scratches became much louder and progressively became poundings against the door, "OPEN UP!" A voice shouts and suddenly Laura's doubts about the dark hallway that let from the small door faded as she slowly crawled through the door, softly closing it behind her, just as the door the scratches was heard upon flew open.

Laura quickly crawled down the narrow corridor, at least that what she assumed it was, but she honestly could not see anything.

Her breathing became ragged and loud, making her suprised she hadn't been found.

Suddenly she heard the small door open, a scratching noise was heard along the walls.

Laura was at least a good 20 yards from the door but whatever had chased her was coming inside and crawling after her.
