I ran further into the forest in a hurry, I was frustrated and terrified at the same time. Why was he following me? Why did he make me feel weird when he called out my name? Why was he even doing this? Why was I so important to terrorize? What made me different than those other girls he could've chosen? But my real question was, why did I strangely crave for more to come?

I came to halt suddenly, a huge amount of impact hit my chest at one time, it felt like I was being repeatedly shot in the chest. I fell to my knees and a faint cry left my lips. I listened as the footsteps sounded nearer and nearer. I felt my heart begin to palpitate at an abnormal rate. I wanted to close my eyes in fear of what I might see, but even if I tried, some force was keeping my eyes wide open.

Finally I saw the figure come into view. Only I saw the shadow, he was wearing dark everything, his hoodie hiding his face but one thing caught my eye. His eyes, an abnormal deep maroon colour. I watched his eyes as they bored into my own brown eyes. His footsteps steadied as he made his way closer to me. I felt my breath get caught in my throat. What is going on? Who is this guy? I couldn't see his face due to the pitch black dark of the night.

Suddenly the pain and impact left my body as I fell to to the ground on my back. I closed my eyes for a brief second before openning them and seeing a hand reached out for me. I hesitantly grabbed it as he in one swift movement had me on my feet, his face only inches from mine and I finally had the chance to look at his face. When my eyes came in contact with the details of his face I gasped taking a step back.

He was...

Beautiful.

I woke up in a sweat, I wiped my brow and sighed sitting up pulling my blankets closer to my body. This was the fifth time I had that dream, and my question was, what did it even mean? It confused me, it terrified me, but importantly it lured me in closer to finding my answer on what it was about. And if that boy was even real or just a figure of my imagination. But I had a gut feeling that it wasn't just a imaginary creation, it had to be real. Every single detail of that dream seemed so real, I cannot describe it. When I grabbed his hand, it felt like real skin, it felt like he was really there, whoever he was.

I sighed and stood up and walked into my bathroom, switching on the light. I took a good look in the mirror, looking at my reflection. My long chesnut coloured hair, my pale white skin, and my brown eyes. I kept staring into my own eyes through the mirror, thinking about the boy's deep red eyes. How they seemed to stare straight through me, looking past every single detail of my body.

I sighed shaking my head, I must be going crazy. I say to myself, why was I even wondering about it so much, it was just a stupid dream.

I put my head close to the sink and splashed cold water to my face, trying to convince myself everything was fine, and to stop worrying about that dream. I sighed looking back up at the mirror where I suddenly saw a dark figure standing in the corner of the bathroom. I jumped turning around to see the stranger. But when I looked, whatever it was it was gone. I turned back to the mirror and it was gone there too. I stood there waiting for my heart rate to go back to normal. I began to think about what I saw, it couldn't have been a real person. I was just tired and a bit shaken up, yeah that was it.

I closed my eyes for a brief second thinking of what I just saw in the mirror, that stranger.

But as I thought about it, it wasn't a stranger it was him.

I walked into the schoolyard that morning, trying to put the dream at the back of mind, at least for now.

I didn't get much more sleep last night, I was too busy thinking about the boy, the dream, what happened in the mirror. And the more I thought about it, the more I seemed to not fear him as much as a normal person would. I mean, I didn't even scream last night seeing the figure in the bathroom, any normal person would've screamed for mercy. Showing I'm most likely not that typical at that kind of stuff.

I kept my swift pace as I made my way inside the school towards my locker on the other side of the school. Ignoring all my peers walking eagerly to their homeroom classes, not even glancing at me once. But they don't know about my dreams and that boy, it's not happening to them so why should they even give me a second glance? I know I wouldn't. Once I made it to my locker I found my best friend, Aubrey standing there, fiddling with a strand of her golden coloured hair. I give off a slight smile, not wanting her to ask anything of the night before.

"Hey," She greeted with a bright white smile. I nodded in acknowledgement as I entered the combination to my locker. Opening it and grabbing the few necessities I needed for my classes for today.

Once I slammed my locker shut Aubrey and I walked towards our homeroom together, as she talked about some boy she went on a date with the night before. But I wasn't paying much attention to be honest, I mean I wasn't trying not to be a good friend but the only thing I could possibly think of was his face. How it hypnotized me everytime I thought about it.

"Laura? Are you even listening?" Aubrey asked as we entered the large classroom.

"Huh?" I asked in a confused tone.

She just chuckles and shakes her head, "What on your mind, Laura?" She asks as we sit down in the front.

I shrug, not really in quite the mood for my friend to call me crazy. "Nothing, I just didn't get much sleep last night, that's all." I replied with a lie. She just nods and gives a slight smile before turning her attention to the teacher who was talking about some upcoming assembly. I rest my head on my hand and try my best not to think of the boy from my dreams. But I couldn't help myself but think of those captivating eyes. They were the only thing I seemed to think about. My mind wandered back to the dream in the forest. Why was I even there? I wondered to myself.

I didn't recognize that forest to be a forest from around my area of town, but then again I've never been an outdoor kind of person. Which was another question, why would I be outside? Especially at night? I've always had a slight fear of the dark and in the dream, the dark was all that I saw, aside from the boy. I shuddered at the thought of the darkness, it was so black. And when I saw him the only thing really lighting up the forest were those bright eyes of his. Those absolutely abnormal eyes of his.

The bell then rang bringing me back to the reality of the world as I stood up walking with Aubrey to Physics class. The beginning class of all our classes for the day.

Soon after the school day was over I walked out and headed towards my schoolbus that was always early. I was the first one on and I decided to sit all the way in the back since I'm one of the last ones on. Soon kids of all ages come aboard the bus. filling in all the seats when suddenly a figure in a black hoodie sits down next to me. His hood up, hiding an inch of the side of his face, I didn't want to seem weird so I just sat straight ahead as the bus pulled off.

I kept taking side glances of the guy next to me, I don't recall seeing him on the bus before, and I don't remember seeing a hoodie with that brand name before. It was of some foreign place, seen as I couldn't even pronounce it. I decided to just forget about it because it was probably some kid I've never noticed in school before or frankly the bus. I sighed resting my head on the window as I pulled out my phone and headphones. Turning on my music to "Let Me Go" by Avril Lavigne. I slightly let my eyes flutter to a close.

When I opened them I realized I had been napping for thirty minutes and the boy beside me was still seated next to me. I furrowed my eyebrows but decided to shrug it off once again as I text my mom I was almost home.

Once it came to my stop the boy stood up and let me out when I drop a folder for English. I turned to pick up but I see the boy had already had picken it up.

"Here you dropped this," He remarks in a low monotonous tone.

"Thanks," I reply grabbing it from it his hands, my hand slipping past his. An instant shock of electricity roared up my arm, sending chills throughout my entire body. I looked up to see his face and I was met with a pair of chesnut brown eyes looking back into my darker ones. That's when I noticed the strangest thing, his right eye flickered a maroon color before turning back to it's original brown. That's when I decided to take in the details of his face and I began to stumble backwards. My mouth slightly open in shock as I hurried off the bus. As the bus passed by I looked through the seats and noticed, no one wasn't on anymore, not even that boy.

My eyes slightly widened it shock as I remembered what I just saw.

It was him.

And he was most definitely real.
