Hi! I'm the author of this story.
One thing that you guys should know is that this is my first story on here and I'm really just started this for fun. I just thought of this story as I was delving into Marvel fanfics on here. This story will be much longer than you might think (it doesn't end with the mission in Russia).
This story is set after Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Iron Man did not die in Endgame, he was severely injured but was able to recover. He handed down EDITH to Peter and has retired in a cabin with his family that is just off of the Avengers Compound. Steve Rogers did not go back to Peggy but decided to take a step back from his job and handed down the shield to Sam. People are still convinced they sent him to the moon. Pietro did not die in Avengers Age of Ultron. Instead of running to be hit by the bullets, he moved them and stopped them before they hit Clint and the kid. Nat didn't die on Vormir either but I haven't quite figured out that aspect of the story so just roll with it. If you guys want, I can say Clint died instead since he would be retired in this story anyways. Also, WandaVision did happen since Vision still died. Pietro was able to help Darcy, Monica, and Jimmy and brought Wanda back to the compound after she shut down the reality. I should also point out that even though Steve didn't die, Sam did not feel right taking the shield and gave it to the Smithsonian, triggering the events of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Also I think that the year is 2024? Correct me if I'm wrong please.
I wanted to introduce you to our main character. Her name is Eleanor Quinn and she is an agent with the CIA. She has the ability to read and sometimes control minds. Her powers are further explained in the story and they will develop as the story progresses. I think of her as a Bucky Barnes type due to her past (which you'll learn about pretty quickly) but it's easier for her to trust people since she can hear their thoughts. However, she is very traumatized and I will be diving into that side of her as we go along.
This story might become 18+ as I go . . . who knows. I will let you know when those chapters come up, so don't worry if you don't want to read that part. It would be smutty or pretty violent. Like I said, I'll let you know.
Okay, well that's pretty much it. I would love constructive criticism as we go, but keep it friendly, no blatant hate.
