Billie jumped out of the boat and turns around. Hei stands on the edge of the boat. Her legs are shaking. Billie laughed. "Come here-." Billie wraps her arms around her body while Hei holds her shoulders. She helped her to the ground. "Why in hell do you need to wear sandals with heels?" They let go of each other.
"Because I have to! It's called fashion, Billie. These sandals are perfect for a boat trip!" Hei wiggles her toes. Billie laugh and shook her head. "The boat trip was soo nice! Your father worked hard on it, you can feel how smooth it's floating than how it first was." She fixes her dress. Billie and Hei walk inside the company building of The Sailing Hale Company.
There was a long row of people at the desk who wanted to hire a boat for the day. Since Billie's father work for the company, they have free access all the time. Billie glanced at the wall with a big poster hanging, it is a cooperation poster from this company and a company called Overseas Hawaii. "Hey, is that Roselani's mother on the poster?" Billie points.
Hei nods. "Yes, she's a marine biologist. The Overseas Hawaii Company uses the boats of this company. Great collaboration." Hei explains.
"Wow. Both parents are successful."
"They are now. But they had a hard time in the past that they now have a lot to catch up to get all the money together for Roselani's futuristic treatment."
"Oh, man. Five years is very short now." Billie bites her lip. Hei nods and knocked on the office when they got to the third floor. They walk inside, to see Billie's father and Roselani's father talking.
"Sorry for interrupting, but we just wanted to say goodbye," Billie said. Hei nods and smiled.
"Of course, did you both had fun?" Roselani's father asks with a smile. "I bet that Patrick's work has done very well with the experience of the boats." Patrick glanced at them, wanting to know their reactions.
"Definitely! It was amazing, dad." Billie complimented.
"Yes! It's so much better!" Hei fills in excitedly.
"I'm glad to hear it! That means that this new technique is going to work for in the future." Patrick smiled.
"Yes! And we want more of it! Billie, we are really happy with your father." Kimo spoke, Billie smiled.
