Six months later
Billie jumps off of her skateboard and holds it with one arm. She walks into the beach, looking at the beautiful waves of the ocean. She walks past the hut where she has had great but stressful times with Kai. She doesn't work there anymore because she will be gone in a week. Kai watched Billie from a distance. He sighed, feeling awful that he won't see her on this beach again. He looked down and kept working his shift he's almost done and ready to go home.
Billie sits down on her skateboard, glancing at the ocean. She dries a few tears away, remembering the good memories she had here with her new friends and girlfriend. She's going to miss this place.
Hei who has her summer job clothes on glanced at Billie. She put her flip-flops on, throws the towel in her bag, and walks towards Billie. She was also done with working. She kneeled down hugging Billie from behind. Billie caresses her arm and smiled a little. They stand up and hug each other tightly.
Kai grabbed his stuff and walks towards them when his shift was over. He hugs them and pulled away. The three of them walked together out of the beach.
"I can't believe both of you will leave soon." Hei sighed, glancing at Billie and Roselani. Kai nods, sitting next to his girlfriend sipping on his drink. "It will be so boring without you two."
"Yeah. It's weird, I remember the first time when I arrived here." Billie mumbled glancing at Roselani. "But we do it for something good, right?" Roselani stands up and teared up walking away from their table. "Rose, wait!" Billie directly followed. Hei and Kai glanced at each other looking sad.
Roselani's Pov
How is it possible that everything leads to nothing? Where is the 'everything is possible, just wait for it' kind of thing? How come that the possible thing I hold on to sank away so soon?
I'm floating inside a dark universe. All black. Looking at my left and right, no difference. I was sinking, sinking into a never-ending black hole. I was screaming, but none heard me. I was crying but none saw me and I couldn't make sure if someone notices me. I was, alone.
But there was something, something different inside my world. A light I couldn't see, but feel. It was like reaching to that thing, that feeling. I was flying my way back to that happy little thing. Friendship and family. Who made me believe I can, who made me hold on to them. The warmth and love.
