The date is July 13th, year 2040. Day 7498 of infection, day 1 in week one thousand and seventy one since outbreak. Currently undergoing operation codename Project Green Light.
Mission is to infiltrate the secure premises on the eve of their sixteenth celebrations and plant the package into the hands of young men. Following this, it is asked that we cut away base points on the fenced perimeter to allow easy entry of experiments into the premises. Experiments will be released in numbers from a vehicle off site and will be attracted to the premises by the sound of the package. Experiments will kill all who stand except for the ones they have been trained not to kill... I will then travel with Connors, James to a nearby housing estate and await arrival of the targets Brookes, Jerry, and Brookes, Aisling. Any extra bodies will be catered for equally unless posed as a threat to the operation. Should any of them realise who we truly are, we are ordered to kill them immediately.
Once we have them we will transport them to the town and regroup with the remainder of the operatives. Bradley will maintain a strict persona to frighten the targets. Providing all goes to plan we will all attend to the airfield where Coffey, John will have prepared a helicopter with enough fuel to bring us to Atlanta.
Once we touch ground in Atlanta we will rendezvous with the remainder of the group inside a small store in the northern sector of the city, to the targets it will seem a random encounter. Lake, Allan will then lead us safely back to Vertuga.
Should we encounter any disturbances that jeopardise the mission en-route to Lake, the remainder of the group in Atlanta are ordered to retreat to Vertuga and leave artillery nearby. Infiltrating and interfering with such disturbances will eliminate our cover and may potentially jeopardise the mission.
Should we encounter any obstacles we will resort to plan B, reach Vertuga on foot no matter what the cost. Lake and the remainder of the group must not contact us in anyway if the plan does not move accordingly... we will find our way back.
Time is 19:07, currently cover with James awaiting to infiltrate and deliver the package.
ETA to deliver targets to Vertuga, 1 week... should we encounter obstacles... ETA unknown. Green Light is nearly a go.

In the distance were two large trucks parked in the darkness along the dirt road. Their headlights switched off, hiding them in the shadows of the night with the back of the truck facing the field of high grass leading up to the village gates. No sound to be heard but the growling and knocking that came from the back of the trucks, the dozens of runners inside awaiting to be set free upon their evening feast.
When nightfall came, the bushes began to move. Sly spies pried through the fences and made their way into the Village to bring upon havoc to the unsuspecting innocents who walked the streets in their tuxedos and fancy dresses, all attending to the town hall. One carried a case, inside a package. He stepped out of the dark alley and out into the main street wearing dark, formal wear to blend in with the others that paraded the streets.
He stood at the top of the main street and began making his way down towards the town hall.
Inside the case were fireworks to be handed to gullible young men who believe it to be for the celebrations of the sixteenth years of survival. Once the package was dropped they made their way out of the lights back to the dark alleyways and silently with stealth they made way back to the fences, dressed in all black to blend in with the shadows and seem one among the array of dark suits.
They slid out through the fences like a snake in the grass and disappeared into the forest.
Night shadowed the town when both men stepped out of their trucks and met on the moonlit dirt road, standing in front of both their vehicles. They waited in darkness, sparking a cigarette between both their silent mouths. Not a single word was spoken between the two of them until from one of their pockets came the distorted transmission of a single word "Now"
One looked to the other, nodded, crushed the cigarette and walked in opposite directions towards the back of the trucks leading towards the gates of the village.
'Alright boys!' he shouted while he pounded his fist off the side of the truck, making his way to the back doors. , banging his fist off the door of the truck igniting a dozen cries as he took from his pocket a small pack of firecrackers. He lit them and threw them far from where he was, and just as they began to explode, the sky was lit up with bright colourful lights that exploded into dozens of colourful lines.
The man looked to the sky, his beard stretched with his sinister smile. The reflection in his pupils sparked the bright lights that brought colour to the darkness and he grinned 'It's feeding time'
He grabbed the back of the truck and pulled open the doors, hiding behind them when they swung open and the second they did a dozen runners came stumbling out of the back of the truck and ran for the firecrackers. They had no sooner reached the burnt out firecracker when they had looked to the sky and gazed upon the colours lighting up the darkness. Their falling flesh lit beneath the lights, their eyes without soul looked hopelessly to the sky, their arms dangling by their side like dead weight. And then one moved his weak foot forward, and followed through with the other before one let out a scream and the others followed, and like a coalition of cheetahs, the dashed towards the gates of the village.
The two men got back into their trucks and slammed the doors shut, one holding his transmitter to his mouth as he spoke.
'Experiments released, operation is a go. I repeat, operation is a go. Roche, do you copy?'
Bryan watched from a distance with James by his side, resting against the body of the pickup they will use to lure their targets. He heard the transmission from the transmitter in his hand and then he looked to James.
'You can still go back to Vertuga with them' he said, assuring James it was not mandatory for him to be on the mission 'It's going to be a long road and I cannot guarantee your safety'
James looked at him and smiled, his trusted shotgun in the back of the pickup by which he stood.
'Let's do this' he smiled.
Bryan nodded, a slight grin on his face and then they both walked to the doors of the jeep and got inside.
The jeep did not ignite the headlights, instead it drove in the darkness just as the fireworks stopped and the first claws to he infected gripped the fence. The two trucks drove down the dirt road followed by three more vehicles, and in the opposite direction went Bryan and James in the jeep towards their next location to begin their mission.
Bryan held his transmitter in his hand and spoke into it.
'Copy that Lake' he said, holding it to his mouth.
The fences of the village gave way and the gunfire commenced, the infected began to infiltrate the Village to take the home of dozens of innocents.
Bryan and James sat side by side whilst he drove down the old dirt road far from the village before he could light up the fog with his headlights, his eyes staring to the distance and accepting the daunting mission he has undertaken. He hit the button on the transmitter again and confirmed the beginning of the mission.
'Project Green Light is a go'
