How're we all :) said I'd throw in one final note just to wrap it up.
Firstly, I'm confirming there will NOT be another sequel to this story. They accomplished what they set out to do, and in the epilogue they found a cure. Yes it is a legit cure, and they all lived happily ever after ;) that's the end of the story, the rest is open to your own interpretation :)Also, it's only right that I reference material taken from other books. The names of two chapters in the book are inspired by two of Lewis Carrol's books, I'm sure your all familiar with.
Down The Rabbit Hole: this statement relates to going into the unknown. Going down the rabbit hole means going into a place of mystery and illusion, a place different from the outside world. In this case, the supermarket was down the rabbit hole, a place they knew nothing about.
The Looking Glass: The looking glass relates back to the rabbit hole. It is something that mirrors the real world. In Lewis Carrolls book, the looking glass mirrors the real world to a world of mystery and illusion. In Hope, the looking glass is the supermarket. It mirrors the horror and tragedy of the outside world.
The Jerry and Ash storyline was inspired by Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us.
The Supermarket battle was inspired by the Walking Dead's Prison battle.
Resident Evils "Umbrella Corporation" slightly influenced the Vertuga storyline.
The Crazies were inspired by the cannibals in Cormac McCarthys, The Road.
The scene with the group in the crazies home was inspired by a similar scene, also in The Road. Finally, did anyone get the reference between the names I chose for Jerry and Tom Ripper? Like a game of cat and mouse? Tom chasing Jerry? Anyone? No?... Ok :(
Also, I'm taking a break from writing for a while so don't expect a story for a while.
Need to get back to exams, fitness and work.
Just said I'd leave the offer if any of you ever want fitness advice, let me know. Currently studying to be a personal trainer and fitness professional so don't hesitate to ask :)
Thanks for reading.
