Once again, her loud alarm woke her up,but this time, it was one of her earlier ones. This time, she had woken up at 7:00. Though she wasn't usually a morning person, this morning she felt very chipper. Maybe it was the thought of seeing Deku again, or maybe it was something else. But it was probably the former.

She practically jumped out of bed, the splinter-filled wooden floorboards beneath her creaked with every step she took. She tossed on her uniform and tripped over her own feet while putting on her shoes. She landed on the floor with a thud that felt -and sounded- like it shook the whole house. But it must not have been that loud after all, because there was nobody at her door asking if she was hurt. She got up and shook it off, but her hips still hurt from falling that hard.

By the time she left the house it was almost 8:00. She walked down the street to school, her burst of energy seemingly over. But she didn't take one step through the gates of U.A. before being tackled by her other female classmates. Cheers and claps surrounded her.

"I'm so proud of you!" Mina exclaimed as she hugged Uraraka. She could barely breathe.

"Um...why?" Uraraka asked, oblivious.

"Because you finally got him!" Hagakure's voice rang. Uraraka turned red.

"Mina! You told them!?" Uraraka said through clenched teeth.

"Of course I did! Why, was I supposed to not tell them?" Mina sponded, finally letting go of Uraraka.

"Um...kinda. But, it's fine. You guys were gonna find out eventually, better sooner than later!" Uraraka brushed off. It wasn't like she was mad at Mina, but she was going to wait a bit before telling her other friends.

"Sooo...how was it?" Jirou asked, pretending to look sneaky. Uraraka giggled.

"Oh, well, y'know...good, I guess? I don't know how to describe it!" Uraraka defended. It wasn't like she had anything else to compare it to.

"I always thought Deku would be a good kisser." Mina said with a smirk. Uraraka gave a fake, over dramatic gasp.

"How dare you!?" Uraraka asked in her best fancy voice. The group broke out laughing. "Hey, where is Deku anyway?" Uraraka asked after she was done laughing. "Have you guys seen him?"

They all looked at each other and shook their heads. "Nope, ribbit. We haven't seen him at all." Tsuyu responded.

"Well, maybe he isn't feeling good. Or maybe he's just late. He's probably just fine." Yaoyorozu reassured.

"Yeah, you're probably right." Uraraka. " Maybe we should head to class before it gets too late." Uraraka mentioned. The others nodded in agreement and they walked to class.

Throughout the rest of the day, Uraraka sent Deku many texts, to none of which he responded. Now Uraraka was getting worried. She could dismiss Deku not showing up to school, but he always replied to texts, no matter who it was. When the final bell rang, Uraraka walked outside, taking her time.

When she was outside the gates, she pulled out her phone and called Deku. But he didn't pick up. She called again. No answer. She called three more times. And he still never picked up.

Uraraka walked home, but when she walked in the front door, she saw an unexpected scene. Inko Midoriya was sitting on their couch, looking nervous and in distress. Her own mother was sitting next to her, comforting her. As soon as Inko saw Midoriya her expression changed.

"Uraraka! I'm so happy to see you!" Inko quickly gave Uraraka a large hug.

"H-hi, Ms. Midoriya. W-what are you doing here? Is something wrong?"

"Oh, you don't know? Izuku...is missing."
