Deku walked Uraraka home after sitting at the park for a while. He even gave her a rose he had found in a bush. It was perfectly in bloom, the petals as red as cherries.
"Uraraka...thank you for coming with me." Deku said when they reached her door.
"No, thank you for telling me. I never would have thought you felt the same way." Uraraka retorted.
With one last quick kiss, Uraraka walked back inside, waving as she walked. As soon as the door shut, she dashed towards her room. She grabbed her tiny flip-phone out of her backpack and texted Mina.
"WE DID IT BOIS" She texted excitedly.
"?" Mina questioned. Uraraka didn't expect Mina to understand the message.
"GUESS WHO JUST KISSED DEKU BISH" Uraraka explained. Before Mina even responded, she could tell that she was just as excited as her.
"YOOOO LETS GO" Mina replied almost immediately. Uraraka could always seem to hear Mina's voice through her text's.
Uraraka flopped on her bed and sighed. She held her phone close to her chest. She glanced over at her clock. It was already 4:00.'I guess I should start on my homework." Uraraka admitted.
Two hours had passed until before she had finished her homework. When she finally set her pencil down, she let out a groan as she let her head fall onto her desk. She didn't know why, but she felt more tired than usual, and it was only 6:00! She hadn't even eaten dinner yet. Just as she picked herself up from the cracked wooden desk, Uraraka heard a knock on her bedroom door. "Come in!" She answered.
The door cracked open, and in the doorway was her mother with a small plate. "Honey," Her mom started. She opened the door a little more. "I know you've been working hard, but I think you should eat." She set the plate on Uraraka's desk. On it were some small pieces of meat and a pile of rice.
"Oh thank you mom. I just finished my work actually." Uraraka responded as she took the plate. Her mom smiled.
"That's good. I don't want you overworking yourself. You already worked so hard to get into U.A., I don;t you to be stressed all the time." Uraraka shook her head.
"Mom, I love you, but you don't need to worry. I'm doing just fine. I promise." Uraraka got up and gave her mom a big hug. "You should go eat dinner. You spend all your time working, and then when you get home you're just doing chores. Take a break for a moment, ok?" Uraraka assured. She wished that her mom didn't spend all her time caring for others instead of herself. Her mom nodded, and then walked away, closing the door behind her.
Uraraka ate her food. It almost tasted better than usual, but maybe it was just because she was in a good mood from earlier. Afterward, she put on her pajamas again. She was so tired that as soon as she sat on her bed to read, she almost fell right asleep! But she fought the sleepiness and read for a while before she couldn't help it anymore and finally fell asleep, still holding the book.
