Frigga walks down a corridor alone. Thor sneaks from column to column following her, she pauses sensing something. Thor hides. When he peers again Frigga is gone. Then he turns around to find Frigga standing beside him, and he jumps.

"What are you doing?" Frigga asks her son, and he looks at her.

"Mother! What? Nothing. Hello." Thor says to his mother.

"What are you wearing?" She points to his bathrobe, confused, on why her son is wearing it. Because he's never worn it before, and she wants to know why he's wearing it.

"I always wear this. It's one of my favorites?" Thor lies to her mother.

"And what's wrong with your eyes?" Frigga asks her son.

"Oh that. You remember the....Battle of Harokin. I took a...broadsword to the face?" He says trailing off, at a loss of trying no lie to his 'going to be soon dead', mother. Frigga gently lays her hand on his cheek...reading him.

"Oh. You're not the Thor I know at all are you?" Frigga asks her son, and he nods his head, lying to his mother again.

"Yes I am-" Thor says covering up his lie but it isn't working.

"I was raised by witches, boy. I see with more than eyes, you know that. I can see the future hasn't been kind to you has it?" Frigga says and Thor immediately thinks of his daughter Tabatha.

"I didn't say I was from the future-" Thor says and Frigga slightly rolls her eyes at her son.

"Thor..." Frigga scolds her son. Frigga gives her son a stern 'don't lie to me', look. Thor stares at his mom for a long moment, then he cracks open.

"I'm totally from the future." Thor says and his mother nods her head at her son.

"Yes you are." Frigga says.

"I need to talk to you." Thor says to his mother and she nods her head.

"We can talk." Frigga says, and she grabs Thor by the cloak and yanks him away.

Asgard Palace Jane Foster's Chambers

Close on a pair of modern boots beneath an Asgardian gown. Tilt up to see Jane Foster. She studies her outfit. Behind her Rocket raises the extraction device over his head about to jab her.

Asgard Palace Frigga's Chambers

Frigga sits with Thor in her chambers.

"...and then it was done. His head over there. Body over there. And me in the middle, just an idiot with an axe." Thor says and his mother shook her head no at her son for calling himself an idiot.

"You are not an idiot, you're here aren't you? Seeking counsel from the smartest person in Asgard?" Frigga says trying to prove her point to her son at the moment.

"Yeah I guess." Thor says to his mother.

"An idiot no. A failure absolutely." Frigga says to her son.

"That's a little harsh-" Thor says when his mother called him a failure.

"Quit a colossal one, but the sound of it." Frigga says.

"Okay maybe just stop talking." Thor says to his mother.

"And you know what that makes you? Just like everyone else?" Frigga says to her son and she puts a reassuring hand on top of his.

"I'm not supposed to be like everyone else though?" Thor says to his mother.

"Everyone fails at 'who they're supposed to be', Thor. The measure of a person of a hero, is how well they succeed at being who they are." Frigga explained to her son, and Thor stares at her biting back his emotions, he misses his mother and he also misses his daughter.

"I've really missed you Mum." Thor says and she leans in and kisses his cheek and he smiles a little from the gesture. The last person to ever kiss his cheek was his daughter before she turned to dust in his hands, and it just felt bittersweet that his mother kissed his cheek.

Asgard Palace Corridor

Rocket tears down the hall, extraction device is in his hands.

"I got it, I got it, I got it!" He says happily, and a troop of Einherjar chases behind him.

Asgard Palace Frigga's Chambers

Thor looks at the observatory; the dark elves will soon attack.

"Mum I have something to tell you-" Thor says before he gets interrupted by his mother.

"No son, you don't. You've come to repair your future not mine." Frigga tells her son.

"But your future-" Thor says and he gets interrupted by his mother again.

"It's none of mine business." Thor stares at her torn, the. Rocket races to the room.

"Hi. You must be Mom. I got the thing. Come on, we gotta move-" Rocket says and looks at Frigga and then he looks at Thor.

I wish we gad more time." Thor says sadly to his mother.

"This was a gift. Now, go be the man you're meant to be, and eat a salad." Frigga says to Thor and he smiles at his mother, and he and Rocket activate their time suits.

"Three...two..." Rocket begins counting down and he gets interrupted by Thor.

"No wait." Thor says and he dramatically holds out his hand, a long pause moment passes.

"What am I looking at?" Rocket asks Thor.

"Sometimes it takes a second." Frigga says and then Mjolnir sails into her son's hand, and she grins proud at her son.

"Still worthy." Thor says relieved that it still worked even after all these years later and that he's still worthy of his hammer. Mother and son look at each other for the last time.

"Goodbye Mum." Thor says trying to stay calm, and then him and Rocket disappear. Suddenly the palace rumbles, and Frigga looks out the window, where a dark elf warship decloaks, and she reaches for a sword.
