15: Avengers Come Back

Avenger's Compound Hangar

The pencil finally clatters to a stop as whoosh, Natasha grows into the present alongside the others.

Smart Hulk holds the eye of Agamotto, Scott has the scepter, Rhodey the orb, Rocket and Thor have the Extraction Device, Tony, Steve and Macy have the Tesseract, and Nebula retracts her time suit.

Macy goes and hugs Natasha and she has a frown on her face. Where's Clint? Macy thought in her head.

"Are you telling me that actually worked?" Rhodey asks and Macy and Natasha retract from the hug, and Tony tosses Macy her hoodie, and she puts it on.

"Did we get them all?" Bruce asks, and Macy has a concerned look on her face, last time that she checked Clint went with Rhodey, Nebula and Natasha. They came back but no Clint.

"Tash? Are you okay?" Tony asks Natasha worriedly.

"Where's Clint?" Macy asks Natasha and she just stares at the blonde girl, hoping that she wouldn't be here when she came back. Natasha didn't respond to Macy and the blonde stepped closer to Natasha.

"Natalia Alianovna Romanoff where is Clint Barton?" Macy said, raising her voice at Natasha and she gulped a little. She's never made Macy this mad before and now she knows what Tony has been talking about. Don't make Macy this mad, ever. Whatsoever, because you'd be dead within 2 seconds, tops.

"He's gone." Natasha says in almost a whisper, and Macy listened to what she had to say and she had little ice sparks coming from her hands.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT HE'S GONE, HE WAS WITH YOU BEFORE WE HAD TO FUCKING GET THE STONES, YOU COME BACK AND HE'S NOT WITH YOU WHAT THR FUCK NATASHA?" Macy yelled and Tony and Steve had to hold back Macy from basically tackling Natasha to the ground, because she would've if she wasn't being held back by her father and Steve.

"Easy tiger." Steve said and Macy shot ice at him, and he fell to the ground.

"Calm down Macy." Scott says and Tony gives him a look that says 'shut up', and he looks down to the ground.

"He sacrificed himself for the stone, and now he's gone." Natasha says and Macy is giving Natasha a death glare, and Tony is still holding on to Macy. Knowing that if Macy wasn't being held back she'd pounce on Natasha.

Avengers Compound River

Bruce, eyes red, stands beside a bench on the dock, behind him is, Steve, Tony, Macy, Thor and Natasha stare out grieving.

Macy is shooting ice at objects, something that she does when she is this mad, and that there is no way to calm her down when she's this mad. Well there was. Taylor. But she's gone, for now.

"Do we know if he had a family?" Tony asks.

"Yeah. Us." Steve says.

"Why are you doing that?" Thor says and Macy is still upset, with everything going on and she just lost Clint, she can't take on this much stress at once.

"He's just asking a question and he wants an answer, so just give him a fucking answer people. Not that hard." Macy grumbles under her breath and she didn't know that the guys heard her say that.

"Why are we talking as if he's dead? We have the stones. Bring him back. C'mon stop this shit." Thor says and Macy continues firing ice at objects making them freeze. Tony knows the pain that she's been through, she lost her sister, her friends, and Natasha squeezes away her tears.

"We can't get him back?" Natasha says to the men.

"What is she talking about? Of course we can." Thor says and Macy turns around and gives Thor a sad look.

"It can't be undone. That's why." Natasha says and Macy nods her head a little, and Tony walks towards his daughter and hugs her.

"No offense, but you're...a very earthly being. We're talking about space magic here. 'Can't', just seems a little definitive, don't you think?" Thor says and Macy rolls her eyes at the God of Thunder.

"Well, I know I'm a little outside my pay grade at the moment, but he's still isn't here, is he?" Natasha says.

"That's my point-" Thor says but he gets cut off by Natasha.

"It can't be undone. At least that's what the red floating guy said. But why don't you go talk to him okay? Why don't you grab your hammer and fly to that place and talk to him. IT CAN'T BE UNDONE. It was supposed to be me. He sacrificed his life for that goddamn stone, he bet his life on it." Natasha tried not to cry when she said that.

Then Bruce hurls the bench into the water, and it skips across the surface like a stone and Macy goes behind her father and he holds her hand protectively.

"He's not coming back. We have to make it worth it, we have to." Bruce says and Macy peeks from being behind her father.

"We will." Steve says, causing Macy to look at him, like she forgot that he was there.
