trinity sighed as the doctor took a fourth needle entered her skin from today.

"we know you don't like this trinity but we need to make sure your health is up," the woman spoke.

"i know but my health has been perfect my whole life. why would it suddenly change?" she asked.

"you never know." she pulled out the needle once she got two small bottles of blood. she wiped the left over blood with a wipe and put a bandage over it. "i'll be back in a bit ok?"

trinity nodded and she left. "not like it's going to change," she mumbled.

the doctor was gone for about five minutes and when she came back in, she came in with daniel and keri with a clip board. keri, daniel and the doctor were wearing masks.

"so... your results came back worse than before," the women started.

"what do you mean worse than before?" daniel asked, sitting on trinitys bed.

"i mean she's sick. but worse."

"sorry amy but you've gotta be a little more pacific than that. i have cancer remember," trinity chuckled lightly.

"i mean the cancers getting worse-"

"what?! how?!" daniel exclaimed. just as he started to do better, she got worse.

"you've had a fever over the past two weeks. have you had any contact with someone. like kiss someone maybe?" the doctor asked.

"what! what does that have to do with anything?!" she furrowed her brows.

"it may be why you've gotten worse... have you?" she asked again.

the blonde girl looked over at her older brother who was looking over at her for an answer. expecting a no. "...yes..." trinity mumbled.

"what?!" daniel exclaimed.

"daniel relax-"

"you've had your first kiss and you didn't tell me?!" he continued. he scoffed and left the room.

trinity pursed her lips and cross her arm over her chest. "so that's why i'm more sick?" she asked the doctor.

"yeah... don't worry that may not only be the only reason but as of right now. anyone who comes in the room needs to was on a mask. we don't want to risk it."

trinity nodded and keri and the doctor walked out. corbyn walked in the door soon after. "hey...?" he noticed her upset face. "you ok?" he asked through the mask he had on.

"mhm," she hummed and nodded.

"why do i need a mask on?" he questioned.

"i'm more sick," she mumbled.

"oh-" he furrowed his brows. "why- or how?"

"because of our kiss." she simply answered then sighed quite after.

"daniel-" estrella tried to interrupted her boyfriend as he paced back and forth around the room.

"estrella i'm ranting right now. could you just sit down and listen," daniel told her, upset.

"but daniel-"

"oh my god! you can't do one simple thing can you!" he frustratedly pulled his hair.

"daniel..." she mumbled.

"jesus christ what?!" he looked over at her.

"n- never mind," she sat down on the couch away from the boy.

he sighed and sat on the bed, "come here," he patted the spot next to him. she only stared at him and didn't move. "i will literally carry you over here if you don't come here."

she broke a smile and walked over to him. she laid next to him and cuddled his side. "you can't be mad at trinity."

"yes i can. she didn't tell me-"

"you didn't tell anyone about us until recently." estrella stated.

"that's- that's different," daniel placed his head on her shoulder.

"is it?" she asked.

"yes," he muttered.

she smiled and started to play with his hair, causing him to close his eyes. "it was a kiss. it probably didn't mean anything to her."

"you don't know that," he sighed and wrapped his arm around estrella.

"you don't know how girls think."

"but i know trinity."

"do you?" she asked. "maybe she like the person she kissed-"

"no she didn't."

she smiled and kissed his forehead, "i love you. but you can't be so protective over trinity. she's gonna be ok. she's had cancer her whole life, didn't she?" estrella knew daniel. she knew exactly why daniel was really upset.

"yes," he mumbled.

"ok then."

"but why did it have to be once in doing better?" he frowns.

"i mean things happen for a reason right."

he sighed, "what if it gets worse?"

"then... we'll let the future decide for us."

"i love you too," he laid back on her.
