Megan's POV:
Class was fairly boring. Some notes, a few lessons, and just one worksheet. But we were all silent. Me, because of last night with Heather, and Lilly had told me about what happened with Stacy.
Stacy didn't even bother showing up to school today.
"So, when are you moving in?" Lilly asked Heather.
"Today," Heather looked at her food.
"Well, isn't it great that your stepsisters and friends?" She attempted to cheer me up.
"Yeah," I mumbled.
"It's amazing," Heather let out a fake smile.
"Meg, I was going to go over to Stace's today to apologize. Would you come with-" I cut Lilly off.
"I would love to, but you know my dad wouldn't let me," I lied.
"Alright," She sighed.
The day went on and then came the hard part. Heather and I had to walk home so we did. I walked into my room, locked the door, and threw my backpack on the ground. I ran over to my closet and pulled out a purse.
I stuffed my phone, diary, and my wallet. I swung it around my shoulder and grabbed a jacket. I slid it on and walked out of my room.
I left the house and took my last look at it.
My home.
My life.
It's over.
I turned around and began walking towards Delilah's home. I walked past her home and into the woods. I slowly took in the fresh air of nature.
I walked around, pulling different flowers from the ground. As I was, I felt like something was wrong.
Someone was near me.
I turned around and looked around.
Whoever was behind me was a terrible hider.
They were hidden behind a tree.
"I see you," I raised my eyebrows.
"I know," The voice sounded like Heathers. The person walked up to me, holding Delilah's arrow.
"How did you get tha-" I was cut off by the arrow being shoved into my chest. The person pulled out the arrow and pushed me to the ground. The person's face came into view.
"Bye bye."
