𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 Estella had broken up with Miguel. It felt different for Estella because now instead of waking up in Miguel's arms in their bed in the huge bedroom she was waking up in a pretty expensive hotel in Guadalajara. She enjoyed seeing her home city again and being able to feel somewhat free. It felt like old times especially when it came to the moments where she was able to hang out with Ana her best friend. Although the relationship between the two was still great, the two both knew they would never be able to go back to the way they used to be. How could they? Estella was essentially a criminal and when she was out on bustling streets she tried her best to stay hidden but every now and then she would catch a stranger staring with judgment written all over their faces. She couldn't blame them since she was associated with Miguel Ángel and probably would be for the rest of her life even if they weren't together. She was scared that one day the gringo that had kidnapped her or one of his little minions while she was on the streets would find her and kidnap her again. The random people that stared at her gave her no fear since she knew they didn't want to snitch out someone from a cartel knowing the consequences of doing so but the gringos did truly frighten her.

However, she was tired of her name being stuck to Miguel, and she couldn't help but feel excited to get her business with Enedina and Isabella started.

But there was still another thing she had to figure out first. The brothers.

To keep their secret business hidden she needed to seduce one of the brothers. Estella didn't tell this to Enedina or Isabella knowing they would never approve of something this outrageous. Estella had her plan figured out and she just needed the perfect moment to get one of the brothers wrapped around her little finger. Her visit to Guadalajara was coming to an end and now she was back to business although it was sad having to leave what felt familiar to her she needed this for herself and her new business partners Enedina and Isabella. Also, she couldn't risk becoming an enemy with Miguel or the people that worked for him. The two didn't talk while she was in Guadalajara but she informed her driver to let Miguel know that she was safe and needed her own space before deciding to speak to him again.

Miguel was not buying this entire story he knew there was something she was hiding even though he didn't want to think the woman he loved would be the person to come to betray him he knew that it was possible. He knew that in the back of his head Estella would do something like this and he hated it. He wanted to find out quickly, but he also had to play along with her little games so he could gather more information. He didn't know what the hell he would do to her if he found out she was doing something that was betraying. He loved her, and that was something he knew but again this was his empire it was something he cherished and valued a lot so why would he have it all come crashing down for a woman when he could easily find another one? But then again Estella was different than any other woman he had ever met. She was beautiful, intelligent, interesting, and other things that made her stand out for Miguel. Things were becoming complicated for him, and the stress was eating at him especially with everything going on he felt like everything was failing including the deal that didn't go through with the opium dealer and now Estella. He loved her but like he promised ever since he started this empire "business comes first."
