Ganyu chuckled to herself and made the coffee for them instead. Xiao went into the backroom to sulk but the door was locked, so there wasn't much the employees could do to help. He'll come out whenever he feels like it.
Meanwhile, Xiao desperately wished he could go back home there were still two hours left to his shift. It didn't help that he had to meet up with a certain guitarist. "So troublesome," Xiao thought to himself as he washed his hands with cold water.
He changed into a spare pair of uniforms he had in his backpack. Of course, he'd prepare himself in case something such as this ever happened one day. Seems like it's finally served useful, but Xiao couldn't care less. He walked back outside once again, his hand still burnt from the steaming hot coffee. Amber ran towards him. Even if Amber was a kind girl, people hated her. Xiao wasn't one of them, but at the moment he wasn't in the mood to see anyone. "Xiao! Guess what," she asked. "What?" he got annoyed at the useless question.
"I got the blonde girl's number!" Xiao was horrified but didn't bother showing it. "Why would you do that, exactly?"
"I thought you'd want to speak to her since she's quite obviously the reason you-" he walked away. Fuck work he's leaving early, he'll just have to deal with the earful that his boss is going to give him Monday.
He was headed to the park, the sun slowly setting on the horizon. The last rays of the sun reflected a golden tint of orange on this earth and the cold air flowed through Xiao's hair as the teenager walked down the long pavemented road. With every footstep he allowed his mind to sink deeper into thoughts and slowly walk subconsciously.
Xiao arrived at the park, there was gentle music coming from near the water fountain. The strings of a guitar strum softly, he knew all the notes from being in a band himself, but that was the past. The guitarist turned around, "Xiao! Yahoo!" Venti said, enthusiastically. " Hey, " he said attempting to sound bored rather than irritated.
Venti put his guitar in the case and carried it on his back. He didn't understand the point of bringing his guitar but I guess people will bring weird things to hang out with. "Want to go get some food?" He asked, still energetic even after the dry reply. Venti didn't let the small male issue a response before dragging him to the nearest shop. Of course, Xiao got used to it. He often went to the Boba shop with his friend anyway.

.Their footsteps were quiet and subtle as they walked on the cold path. The sun was almost gone, but it would take another two hours before the duo would part ways.
Suddenly, his phone buzzed in his pocket. "Oh, you should check that," Venti stopped and looked over his shoulder, which was hard with his large guitar on the back. Xiao hummed in return took out his grey phone and opened it. A message from an unknown number was displayed on the screen, a message saying: Hey Ciao!! Or Ziao! It's me, Lumine from the coffee shop! :DHe sighed and buried the phone back in his pocket.
"Don't just ignore them like that Xiao!" venti said. He was well aware it wasn't out of character for him, since he himself had a hard time befriending the emo at first.
"I'll reply to them later, let's go get food first," he replied before walking off. The other green-haired male stood there for a good long minute before realizing he was walking further and further away. leaving him behind. "Hey wait up!"
