"YOU DID WHAAT?!" Aether's voice echoed throughout the whole house. He panicked, he had plans with Kaeya but didn't want to be rude and cancel. "Chill Aether, I'm sure he isn't a bad guy," Lumine replied, brushing him off as if it was no big deal.

Of course, she had no idea that he had to meet someone else tomorrow. Aether was almost certain that his twin wouldn't let him leave. She wasn't exactly overprotective or anything, he was allowed to do what he wanted. Since it wasn't as if they had a huge age difference. No, it was because she didn't trust the blue-haired male one bit, ironic, seeing as the girl invited a stranger to eat.

Aether sat down, seein' as they were in the dining room. The wooden floor creaked a bit at the sudden weight being pushed onto one area. Silence lingered in the room, they could hear the clock tick. Never had he imagined a simple hangout could cause him such stress. The blonde boy sighed, he wouldn't want to lose a friend over this trivial matter.

He ruffled his hair, "Alright, I'm tired," and left. Lumine stood there, no words came out. Sure, she felt remorse but she was as helpless as he was. She didn't want to go see him, she had no idea how to console him. She also decided to call it a night and leave the problem to tomorrow.

Aether took out his phone and searched frantically for Kaeya's number. Then, his gaze fell upon his number, but he paused. He pause moments before his finger touched the screen. Well, he didn't have any idea what he was going to do. It wasn't a war but he needed a battle plan.

Aether: Hey, are you there?

Aether's face palmed, it was a normal text. He was nervous and didn't know exactly what else to say.

Kaeya: mh? Do you need something Aether

Aether: Well

                You see

Kaeya: You found someone else to hang out with and you're not sure what exactly you should do, right?

Aether: What-

Kaeya: So..?

Aether: Yeah, you're right

Kaeya laughed as he looked at the phone. Aether was mainly calm and composed so not many would be able to know. Lumine was one of the exceptions, as well as Kaeya and Venti. The blue-haired male moved his ponytail a bit and sighed. He was mysterious and hard to know, not even his adopted brother knew much about him.

Kaeya: It's fine, I wanted to check out a place anyway.

...

Xiao was sleeping peacefully, nothing to bother him. Or he thought. He spent the night looking through his window, his thoughts were still blurry. He contemplated his life choices until birds could be heard outside. It was already tomorrow
