Xiao was walking down the familiar road of concrete. He was used to not getting enough sleep since he'd normally get three to four hours of shut-eye, but this one seemed to have a bigger toll on his attention span.
He tightened his grip on his backpack and mindlessly walked past the bookstore. It was only when he bumped into a brick wall that he realized it, 'Ah, shit.' he thought to himself before turning around. He looked around and to his all-mighty luck, nobody saw him, what a relief!
He looked down at the ground and headed towards the bookstore.
He opened the door and entered. The bookstore was basic and average, not like Xiao was expecting anything extravagant or fancy. The floor was simple oak wood, the simplest of the simple, and the walls were sky blue.
The books were neatly arranged on the shelves, which made finding books easier. At least, that's what Xiao assumed, but today must not have been his day.
Even if they were, said, categorized perfectly, the teenager has never seen the boar princess before. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack. He pulled out his phone and searched for the book, but there were very few results. Much to his misfortune. The only information he found was the cover's colour, but they weren't arranged in colours.
He walked around for a good 18 minutes, eagerly attempting to find the book in question. Frustration slowly built up and it was affecting his patience greatly.
Another 15 minutes passed before finally, he finally decided to give up. Knowing Ganyu, she'd be grateful for anything. Complaining wasn't like her, so he settled on a random book. He picked up the medium-sized book and examined it.

.
Just his luck. It was the boar princess.
He sighed and walked over to the counter, taking out his wallet in the process. "Hello, will that be all?" the employee asked, 'no shit it is' Xiao thought and mindlessly nodded. He placed the money on the counter and left out the entrance.
The wind hit his face the moment he stepped out, his hair flowed freely.
Xiao stopped at a nearby bench and slowly placed his backpack down, his mind was still tired. It was almost as if he was moving without thinking, but he didn't actually care. He slipped the book into his backpack and took his phone out. He had about an hour before he had to meet up with the twins. It's plenty of time.
