His Possession

Chapter 1

Ahana's POV :-

"Hurry up anu or else he is gonna eat us raw today" Sonia, my friend yelled running beside me.

"Jeez woman, we are already late. What harm is there to be late for more five minutes." I asked her still running through the corridor to our class.

She slowed down hearing my words giving me a glare "you should have said it first. Why the hell are we running then"

I halted next to her "common sense sonia"

She huffed and we both reached to our classroom where Mr. Singh is going through some notes.

"Both of you come in now and meet me after this class" He said giving us a pointed look.

"Busted" Robby whispered as soon as we took our seats next to him.

Robby, sonia, Karan, Mehek and I, we all met in our first year of graduation and instantly we clicked. After that we five are inseparable. They are like my second family in here.

Basically, I am from Jaipur but for my graduation i moved to Delhi and live in college hostel with sonia. We girls are in fashion designing department whereas the boys are in journalism. We only have two lectures in common.

The rest of the lecture went on without any disturbance.

After that, sonia and I made our way towards the staff room to meet Mr. Singh.

"You both are the best students of our college still you are so careless. I will not tolerate it again. Am I clear" he schooled us for our tardiness.

We nodded and left for the canteen where the rest of our group is waiting.

"I want a grill sandwich" I said to no one in particular knowing that someone will get it for me.

"Why do you need a grill sandwich. I am sure Mr. Singh's lecture grilled you enough" Karan mocked earing a smack from Mehek who was sitting beside him.

"I hate his lectures" Ronny groaned.

"As If we love them" I said earning few chuckles from the group.

After hogging the sandwich, we quickly moved to our next lecture.

It was not even 10 minutes to the lecture when our Dean came to the class.

"Good morning, I hope you all are having a great day" He greeted us making me scoff.

"As you all know that last year students graduation ceremony is in next three days. I want all the faculty members to start prepare for the same." He informed us more like ordered us.

"Poor faculty members, they are gonna have three hell of days" I mumble to sonia who give me a funny look.

"Earth to anu. We five are also the members of the faculty." Mehek chuckled at my expression.

"Sir, It means we don't have to attend lectures" Asked someone from the class.

"Yeah but you all have to attend extra classes after the ceremony to coverup the attendance" He strictly informed.

"So as I was saying in this ceremony some important guests are coming. I want all of you to be at your best behavior" He warned.

After taking permission from our professors, we went to the corridor where all the members were present to discuss the arrangements.

"So invitation and decoration is done. Now come the most important task welcoming the guests. Only Ahana and Mehek is left so guys you both will be incharge of it" Said the faculty head.

Mehek and I looks at eachother before agreeing to him. I mean, we can do this. Not a tough task.

This is how we spent the rest of our day.

It was 5 in the evening when we left the college bidding bye to the guys and Mehek. They all are from Delhi. Sonia is too from Jaipur but we met here in our first day in our hostel room.

After getting freshnup I called mom.

"Hey Anu, we were waiting for your call only" I hear my mom's voice which calms me down.

"Hii maa, how are you. Where is dad" I asked her getting into the balcony of our room.

"We are good baccha. How are you" This time it was papa.

"Am also good papa. Just missing you all" I told him honestly.

The thing is, I am very closed up when is comes to show my emotions.

"Well then guess what, we have a good news for you" he said excitedly.

"Really. What is it" I asked eagerly.

He chuckles at my eagerness "Your cousin sristy is getting married next week. That means you have to attend it."

"Really, sristy is getting married. That's great. Then I think I will be visiting home soon" I exclaimed happily.

After talking more for half'n hour we hangup.

Sonia was fast asleep when I entered the room. Switching off the light, I too dozed off.

Friday came sooner than we expected. It was the ceremony day.

All the decorations had been done. Everything was on point now just we have to welcome the guests and bang on we are done.

"Ahana, Mehek off to your duty. The guests are here" someone shouted.

I and Mehek took off towards the entrance with the bouquet. As we reached our Dean was shaking hands with some people in suits.

Mehek pushed me forward and I offered the flowers to the guy in black suit.

"Welcome sir" I said smiling slightly.

But that jerk face did not even acknowledge us and went ahead with the Dean.

"What a Jerk. No manners at all. I don't know what these stupid rich people think of themselves. Like they own the damn world" I exclaimed loudly.

"Forget it Anu. We will probably will not come across them again" she tried to calm me down.

Little did I know that I will be seeing him again soon.

Mehek and I took our leave from there. I don't know why but before turning the corridor I looked back to where Mr. Rude was to find him already looking at me.

"Why the hell he was looking at me" I thought.

It was five in the evening. The ceremony was finished but still we were not allowed to leave.

"I hate this guy. I mean who the hell even stays so late in college. I am telling you am gonna strangle him today in his sleep" I said.

"Calm down tiger" Ronny said putting his arm around my shoulder.

"I can't dumbass. I have a flight to catch. I think you forget but today at 9'o clock I am flying to Jaipur to attend my cousin's marriage." I reminded him.

The Dean came and appraised us for the hard work. I hurriedly left the college to leave for airport as my flight is in 45 minutes.

Bidding bye to my friends, I rushed inside the airport. I was checking my boarding pass when I bump into someone.

"Watch where you are going" said a deep voice before leaving.

I looked at the person's back finding it familiar. I shook off my thoughts cursing him for his rudeness.

It took 30 minutes to go through all the security check.

I sat on my seat near the window before closing my eyes. Jaipur... Here I come.
