Sana The Slime

Chapter 5 Massacre

Sana's arrived at Sarighnet. Sana then come back to their village, if you can called it village, Urapika Village. Urapika was situated at Sarighnet not far from The Tree. It was mainly consisted of piled up holed mound, and majority of the creatures who takes placed on it was slime or others small creatures, like land urchins, antlion, and others.

"Sana, you've come back." Pare was loitering around its mound. It moved slowly from one end to another. Pare like to do this. It said this was exercise for the greater good. Sana didn't understand it at first. Why didn't Pare just bounced like Sana. Pare then reprimanded It that older slime like It can't just do bouncing anymore. Even though their acid became more potent, they became slower in exchange.

Sana had the urge to tease Pare. Then Sana really did it. Sana was bouncing continously, encircling the irate Pare. Sana was undulating happily, till Pare spray Its potent acid to Sana. Slime was insusceptible to their own acid, but it was different with acid from Pare. It was so potent it made Sana tingle a bit. Sana was dodging that acid like It was fleeing from great fire. The acid machine gradually slowed down. Pare was exhausted by Sana's antic.

"Bye bye, Pare!" After looked at Pare complexion, Sana thought the play had been enough. Pare didn't answer Sana's farewell and instead It walked back sulkily to Its mound. Sana bounced happily to Its own mound. Tomorrow Sana would search for mosses to be gifted to Pare, as an apology. Then Sana would tease Pare again, hehe.

Sana's mound was not too big, it's rather small for Osama, but it was perfect for the small blob. There's only flat rock in corner and some knick knack at another corner. The flat rock was Sana's place to sleep. Sana placed the stone near Its place of slumber, then begin to drift away to the dreamland.

Unbeknownst to Sana, the stone started to shine faintly, illuminated Sana.

Sana was awaken by commotion which happened outside. Sana with a bleary mind start to roll Its body out from the mound and went to the source of commotion.

It was happened on the edge of area near The Tree. There's many beetles' corpse scattered around. Fabius was in the center of all this massacre. He was still beating the remaining living beetles who stubbornly run amok and charging to The Tree's area.

With His enormous tail, Fabius swept the beetles casually. He lift his greenish tail higher and then strike that horde of beetle mercilessly. His tail stike it again and again till the beetles become beetle's mash like its brethren.

"Wow!" Sana was amazed by Fabius's strength. Even though we usually found him lazed around and sleep every day, He was actually an amazing fighter. His strong tail crushed the beetles like it was nothing.

"Go! Go! Fabius!!" Sana was cheering at Fabius on the side excitedly. It bounced in Its place repeatedly. Fabius who boredly beating some pests finally noticed the orange blob that bounced repeatedly while shouting his name antusiasly.

"Good day Sana, I really found that weird beetles you talked about before. They're really troublesome. They tried to attack The Tree and some actually dare to invade your Urapika." Fabius stopped after He already killed all of that troublesome looking mutant. His head then cocked around, checked the perimeter to ensure there's no living creature nearby The Tree. He made satisfied nod then relaxing his sore muscles, starting to be lazy again.

"Really? Wah, the beetles was more troublesome than I think!" Sana was rocking its small body softly while stare into blank space.

"Oh right! I already ate these beetles with Dali, it's rather tasty, and packed with much protein! Did you want to eat it all, Fabius?" Sana was looking at the crushed beetle with hungry stare. Looked at this oblivious small blob, Fabius only glance at corpses of beetle and feel it was unpalatable for him. He laid his head on his coiled body, then gave Sana a muffled grunt.

Sana awaken by Fabius's grunt then cocked Its body to Fabius general direction. Fabius was starting to sleep soundly, looked like He was unbothered of the outside world. Sana was happy! Fabius didn't want to eat these beetles, then It could!

Sana started to munching at nearby mashed beetle. It didn't need to dissolve their carapace first. It's really convenient! Nom nom nom, Sana already finished one. It's still drooling at other beetle when it realized that there's many other creatures already flocking around these remains of massacre. They were looking at it warily.

Oh right! "Guys you can eat these beetles, Fabius didn't care about it!" Sana informed them happily while bouncing repeatedly.

"Really?" A small criter, one size bigger than Sana but a lot of smaller than Osama, stepped forward cautiously. Fabius was feared amongst majority of Sarighnet dwellers. Sana was one of minority. Sana itself didn't know why people afraid of Fabius, He was such a lazy bum.

"Thank you!" the small critter thanked Sana with such a bright face.

"No, no, You should thank Fabius instead," add Sana reminded it.

The small critter eyes, including its friends who was started to wander to different directions. Delaying their token of gratitude. Finally they're mumbled a thank you to Fabius general direction, with small voice. After that, they excitedly collect the spoil of war and bring it to their burrow. Sana also followed their excitement. It collected corpses of beetle which nearer to Fabian's side.

It's such a waste, Fabias was a fool to not wanted these protein filled meat. But, He was the one who killed them all, so maybe he's not that foolish, hehe.

Sana was collecting the corpse one by one to its home. Sana put it in the corner and arranged it so it won't be messy. Satisfied with Its work, Sana start to undulating happily. Today It didn't need to collect moss! Hehe.
