She was in front of me, taking off her mask to ask me a silly question. And my heart was bumping. I was so excited, but I couldn't say a thing. She was hiding a secret, and I must respect that.

—“Could the Two of Us eat this soup together?” —She sweetly asked.

—“O-Of course” — I needed to accept her proposal.

Before I started preparing the soups, I packed the other products in a bag, and handed it to her, and then took both soups, so I headed to the counter where the hot water is.

—“Let me help you, please” —Sucrose followed me as I tried to take a soup from my hand.

—“No!” —I screamed to her, and looking at her sad reaction, I sighted and then gave her one package. —“But be careful with the water, please”

She nodded. When we arrived to the counter, I uncovered the soup, and placed it on the place behind the water machine. Pressed the one coup of water button, and then it started to flow. When the machine stopped, I closed the soup and put it aside. Now it's time for Sucrose.

He carefully opened his soup, and placed it under the machine. Likewise she pressed the button and waited for it to stop. She gets anxious waiting for it to stop, that's a useless observation I did on her. Her face waiting, staring at the package. I think a little smile left my face.

Time passed, and she had to get the soup out of the machine. I don't know what she was thinking, but she forgot that she has to close it and take it from the border. A small scream came from her mouth, as she had thrown her soup on the floor, and a considerable amount of boiling water fell into her. I got so scared that my hands acted on their own. Taking a towel I had on my place, I put a bottle of cold water that I had on my counter and placed it on her feet. I was kneeling before Sucrose. She got blushed, and tried to move, but she complained.

—“Does it hurt so much?” — I asked to her, still kneeling.

—“Somehow... but it's fine, I'm just scared” — She said as her voice trailed off.

—“At least, can you walk?” —I was so worried.

She tried to lift her foot one more time but it hurted. The water was too hot. I only had to see how she moved slowly and complained. I offered my help, giving her my arm. She accepted, but still it was hard to her.

—“Can I try something, Sucrose?” — I was kind of nervous.

—“Huh?” — She was curious. —“What's that ‘Something’?” — She asked.

—“I mean, I can carry you, you don't seem to be heavy...” — I told him with complete confidence, but her reaction was something I wasn't expected. Am I going beyond the boundaries? —“Or it's okay, I can still help you with...” —I was cut off by her.

_“I-It will be so much help to me...” —She said, looking to the other side.

She had agreed. Carefully, I crossed my arms behind her, and with my strength I lifted her up. And honestly, she's lighter than I thought. She crossed her arms behind my neck and held on. And in a few steps I reached the chair at the dinning area. I carefully left her on the chair, went back to the counter where our soups were and brought them closer. So I decided to give her the soup that was left.

—“Take it” — I offered to her. —“Are you sure you feel okay?” —And I still worried.

—“I'm good, no need to worry” — She said, but her face didn't look good.

—“You should go to the hospital to check yourself, Sucrose” — I had to insist.

—“N-No! I'm great, I just can't go there...” — She didn't mean to say it, but the words already leaved her mouth. —“I mean, I can but...” — She was cut off by me.

—“The people from the other day... I understand it, Sucrose” —She was trying to keep up with her secret, and I tried to help.

—“I will call a friend later... So you don't have to worry!” — She looked at the soup. —“And you don't want it? We can share it!”

—“That's not a bad Idea” —I accepted.

I don't know if it's okay to be eating lemon shrimp soup with a celebrity in broad daylight at MY store. I honestly do not know if it is correct, but I accepted her proposal. She looked so happy, but we hadn't talked at all. She didn't know what to talk about, and I tried to give her some help.

—“So where are you from, Sucrose?” — I asked to her even though I already knew the answer.

—“I'm from Mondstadt, born and raised here...” —She answered. —“And what about you?” —I didn't expect such a question.

—“Well... uh...” —I was nervous. —“Well, does that matter now?”

—“You asked me, so I'm asking you back...” —She answered. —“But it's okay if you don't want to tell me! I understand” —She said.

—“Khaenri'ah” —I said in a low voice. —“I am from Khaenri'ah”

Her reaction was surprised, but I don't know why she is. Or well, I do. I know why she is, and I'm afraid she doesn't want to talk to me again by this fact. Should I have kept silence instead? Is she upset?

—“You...” —She whispered, but I could hear.

—“Me what?” —I said, in an upset voice, without noticing.

—“Nothing!” —She got scared. —“It's nothing... It's just...” —She was cut off by me.

—“Are you afraid of me or something? I will not hurt you, but if you don't want to talk to me again in your life is totally understand...” —Payback, I was cut off by her.

—“I've never heard of it, that's why I'm so surprised” —She explained. —“It must be so nice, right? Being from a different place and stuff”

—“It's not, actually” —My voice was still angry, and I didn't know why.

Every one of my words seemed to scare her. I honestly can't help feeling this way every time I talk about Khaenri'ah, every time I remember my mother, I can't help it. And to top it all, I got a call in full conversation. Sucrose asked me who it was.

—“It is my girlfriend...”
