Months later

Y/n POV

Today we will be going into the mountains and we have to go to the check point and back. Everyone had a partner and mine was mikasa. It was daylight we were at a pretty fast pace. We had to get our flag and find where it was on our map with a compass. "I think we should head east" I said and she nodded.

We walked in comfortable silence and then she looked at me and smerked "so you and eren huh?" She said and I looked at her with a shocked expression "we are not together we are just best friends!" I said. Sure me and eren do everything together and eat off each others plates but that's what best friends do right? She rolled her eyes "sure" She said.

I saw a pretty bird that was red and pointed to it. "Look mikasa its the same color of your scarf isn't it pretty?" I said and she smiled "ya it is but lets keep walking" she said and we reached our check point and grabbed our green flag. We started our long walk back and the sun was already setting.

You could see my breath come out in puffs of smoke. My teeth started to chatter but our pace didn't faulter. It was pitch black and I opened our bag and got out the lantern setting it a light. We walked and it was a new moon so we couldn't see anything except for a few feet in front of us. By the time we made it back my lips were tinged blue and my teeth were chattering.

"First ones back impressive Ackerman's" said shadis and we went inside. I let out a sigh of relief as the fire warmed me up. "Im going to make tea" I said and I put a giant kettle on the stove and put water in it. I ran to my cabin and got my box of black tea. I was saving it for a special occasion but right now I think me and the squad will appreciate something to warm us up.

  When I came back the kettle was whistling and I put the tea in to steep. When it was steeped to perfection I poured me and mikasa a cup. "Do you want cream or Sugar mikasa?" I asked "just two scoops of sugar please" she said from the other room. I put her sugar in it and gave it to her. "You drink it plain?" She said and I nodded "me and my father don't like sweet things" I said laughing. It was one of the many things I inherited from him.

Me and mikasa sat in silence enjoying the warmth of the fire and the tea. A little while after armin and eren came in. "Would you like some tea boys" I asked and they nodded. "Cream sugar?" I asked and I made armin's with light cream ad sugar and eren being the sugar addict he is asked for three and a half scoops of sugar. Just the thought of it made me want to gag.

I gave them there tea and they thanked me. Soon the others came and I made their cups and the only people missing were krista and ymir and another cadet. When we were about to send out a search Party they came back. And we all let out a sigh of relief. "My future wife makes great tea" said Reiner I laughed and Jean and eren scowled. "Shut up Reiner!" Said eren and Jen looked shocked "I can't believe Im saying this but I agree with the suicidal maniac" said Jean gesturing to eren. Eren scowled and I laughed.

We all grabbed trays and I was still freezing. "Hey come here" said Reiner with a blanket from his bed and I let out a sigh of relief and he smerked at Jean as I snuggled into the blanket and Reiner. "Y'know it would be faster if you took your clothes off" Reiner said with a smerk and I hit him the same time Jean, eren, and mikasa did.

"Hey that hurt you guys" said Reiner "don't make me regret my decision" I said and he immediately stopped with the flirting and let me enjoy the warmth of the blanket. I don't know when but I suddenly fell into darkness.

Eren's POV

Jealous was an understatement of how I felt right now. She was all snuggled up with him and they were in a blanket together. Reiner smiled at us triumphantly and me and Jean glared at him. Her raven locks were all over the place making me want to run my fingers through them.

Sasha looked at her plate "is she going to eat that?" She asked and we laughed she took the tray and munched on it. We finished the food and Reiner was about to pick her up "I got it" me and Jean said at the same time and mikasa rolled her eyes and grabbed y/n herself  and took her to her bed. Then the three of us just stood there awkwardly and then we parted ways.

I sighed and went to my bunk. I fell into a deep slumber. I was woken up to light shaking and I saw y/n with a few tears on her face. "What's the matter!" I said "I had a nightmare" she whispered and I sighed and opened up the blanket so she could crawl in. She did and I wrapped my arm around her and I fell into a blissful sleep wit the girl I love in my arms.
