Balance

Y/n POV

I've been here for about a week and I was finally used to the routine. I got up before dawn and Gor dressed tided up my room and put on my uniform. I went outside and I did some stretches did fifty push ups, (me writing this and I can only do twenty) and I did two hundred sit ups(this is my record), and I did a few laps around the field.

When I was done I did a few More stretches and then I went to my cabin to wake the others so they wouldn't get in trouble. "Guys wake up" I said washing the little bit of sweat from my face.

I gently pushed all of them and they changed and we made our way to the dining hall. I felt an arm wrap around me when I grabbed my tray and looked up and saw Reiner.

"Good morning beautiful" he said with a wink and I smiled "good morning to you too"  we walked back to the others and Jean walked up to us and pushed Reiner's arm off my shoulders and replaced them with his. "Good morning my future wife" he said and I laughed. For some reason I was in a good mood.

"You seem like your in a good mood" said eren smiling and I smiled "probably because I had a good nights sleep and got a good workout this morning" I said

and armin looked at me in shock. "Why would you work out and deal with the workouts that commander shadis makes us do?" He asked and I shrugged

"my father always said that if you aren't tired then you aren't progressing" I said taking a bit of my food. Armin smiled softly and eren smiled at me "who is your father anyway you always talk highly of him" he said and my smile faulterd and he looked guilty "is he not here anymore?" He asked guilt laced his tone.

"No but I can't tell you who he is sorry" I said and went back to my Normal self. "Is he someone important?" He asked and I didn't answer and I kept eating. "Are you going to eat that?" Asked sasha pointing to the piece of bread on my plate.

I smiled and shook my head and handed it to her "thanks y/n your the best" she said while eating the bread happily. I cleared my tray and went outside and lined up.

Commander shadis came out and glared at us. "Today we will be practicing the balancing techniques you need to be able to use odm gear!

If you fail this you will get sent to the fields understood?!" He said and we all yelled "yes sir!" The first ones to go up were some cadets that I didn't know and they were wobbling and they fell

. They got it after a few tries and eventually the only ones left were me, mikasa, sasha, eren, and Connie. Jean had already went and he did pretty good. We all got hoisted up but I stayed perfectly still with no effort it felt like second nature to me. "Wow! She's even better than mikasa!" Shouted a red haired cadet.

I looked over to eren and he was face planted into the ground people were laughing at him and me and mikasa glared at them.

"Quit laughing at your Comrade! We are supposed to treat them with respect! He is the same person who is going to help you when a titan tries to grab you! Do you want him to laugh at you and leave you high and dry?" They all looked like they just ate a pile of shit and I glared "thats what I thought!"

The commander let me down and I went over to eren who was getting his head bandaged up. "Are you ok?" I asked my eyes filled with worry.

He blushed as my hands lightly grazed his head. "Im fine I just hope I don't get sent to the fields" he said scratching the back of his neck. I smiled at him "ill help you tonight" I whispered into his ear And for some reason he blushed. 

Eren's POV

She was so close to me. I blushed as her breath tickled my neck and she pulled back and smiled. "Thanks see you at the mess hall?" I said and she rolled her eyes

"of course" she went to the girls cabin and I went to mine to change into a regular shirt and pants. Jean and Reiner were fighting over y/n again and I rolled my eyes sending a  glare their way.

Lately I've been thinking about the black haired girl and every time I did I would blush. It made me feel all fuzzy inside. And when I see the to idiots flirting with her it just makes me angry. What is this feeling?

I went to dining hall and sat down with the group. "Hey y/n" I said blushing. Dum and dumer cane over and were flirtatiously complimenting her.

This is getting on my nerves "one day you will mine" said Jean and y/n blushed tucking a strand of dark hair behind her ear. "Im not so sure about that boys" she said laughing.

I smiled her laugh was.......beautiful. I blushed at the thought and looked away from her before she caught me staring. Mikasa smerked and nudged my side "I see hearts in those eyes" she said smiling. I blushed harder and y/n looked at me with concern.

"Are you ok eren your face is red are you sick?" She asked. Jean laughed "I think we more competition" he said and beartolt laughed at Reiner's expression. "You trying to steal my girl?" He asked with a glare and Jean slapped him on the back of the head "she's mine not yours!" Y/n groaned loudly and hit both of them "none of you own me and eren is just a friend." She said with a playful eye roll at them.

Then she looked at me "right eren?" She said and I felt a pang in my chest. "Ya" I said and mikasa and armin looked at me with pity and she smiled triumphantly "see guys I told you not stop fighting like children and eat your food." She said

When we were done with our food we went outside for our afternoon training.

It was now dark now and y/n was helping me into my balancing gear. "You got this eren!" She said pulling me up and I immediately fell. "Try focusing your body weight to like the middle sorry eren I don't know how to explain it" she said and I smiled "its ok Im just glad that your helping me" I said gratefully. She pulled me up again and I balanced for a few seconds then I fell. This is going to be a long night.

Y/n POV

Eren tried his best but it was getting late and I was getting tired. "Y/n Im going to call it quits" he said "what why?" I asked "your tired and so am I" he said with a sigh. I let him down and he smiled at me "thanks for the help can I walk you back to your cabin m'lady" he said in a British voice.

I laughed and bowed holding out an imaginary dress "of course kind sir" I said and he grabbed my hand and kissed it. We laughed at our stupidity and I let him walk me back and I stared at the sky. Me and my father used to watch the stars together.

" beautiful" I said talking about the moon. "You are.....I-i-i mean ya it's beautiful hehe" he said rubbing the back if his head nervously.

Eren's POV

"You are i-i-i mean ya its beautiful" I said and I scratched the back of my head nervously from my mistake and then an idea popped into my head "and that m'lady is my impression of Jean" I said taking a bow and she laughed.

"He would say something like that" she said. I let out a breath of relief crisis averted. I dropped her off at her cabin and I let out a sigh. Im a love sick puppy.
