Y/n felt droplets of salty sweat from on her brow and drip down the length of her nose as he continued to run at a steady pace her feet pounding on the ground heavy from exhaustion. 

Y/n skidded to a stop her chest heaving as she bent over clutching her knees for support, "I did it" she breathlessly stated between pants. She raised an arm and wiped away some of the sweat coating her face. 

Levi stared down at her expressionless "run faster give me another lap" y/n groaned childishly "this is my forty fifth lap-" she started to complain but was quickly silenced with a raised hand palm in the air. 

"Run" he repeated this time firmer, y/n shook out her legs begging her run around the base again, in this world it's kill or be killed. You can't ever rest or slack if you do then it's like asking to be scooped up by a titan. 

With that thought in her head she ran faster around the base completing another lap, Levi gave her a small smile and held up his fist "that's my girl" he praised as she lifted her own arm to bump fists with his. "Thanks dad" y/n replied smiling despite her exhaustion. 

Loud footsteps neared making Levi pinch the bridge of his nose, y/n chuckled. "Let her rest Levi!" Yelled Hanji trotting over to pull y/n into a headlock rubbing the girls head affectionately

Levi sighed "we were just finishing up shitty glasses there was no need for you to interfere" he remarked rolling his eyes and crossing his arms over his chest. Hanji stuck her tongue out in a child like manner.

She released y/n and clapped her hands excitedly "ooo~ goodie you're all done, wanna to study some titans?!" She asked happily bending down to y/n's level, the girl happened to her her fathers height much to her dismay. 

Levi clicked his tongue in disagreement his expression hardening "she isn't going to join the survey corps four eyes, let alone go with you on one of your crazy expeditions to feed your weird obsession" he dictated with a tch. 

Y/n frowned Turning to him "but father please?" She begged. It wasn't uncommon for them to have this debate. Hanji and the rest of the squad insisted she was ready while Levi continued to be in denial usually ending the conversation with a quick 'no' then stalking off. 

His eyes softened at the plea but shook his head, "you know why I don't want you to go" y/n smiled grabbing his hand in support giving it a slight squeeze. "I know" Hanji smiled watching the interaction as she rocked back and fourth on the balls of her feet. "Aww" she cooed

Levi glared at her releasing y/n's hand, "where is uncle Erwin?" She questioned turning to Hanji who gave her an understanding look "he should be in his office, he's not busy don't let him lie to you" she winked 

Y/n laughed "thanks Auntie" she jogged off into the base dancing around cadets and team members as they cleaned, some greeted her while others swatted her hands away from the food being set up for lunch. 

Continuing down the hall she ran her  hand along the wall tracing the coarse stone with her fingertips before stopping in front of the oak door. She raised her s/c hand and rapped on the door in two swift motions. 

His gruff voice filtered through muffled from the door between them. "It's me uncle" she replied she heard him cough. "I'm pretty busy y/n.." he started y/n smirked "no your not" she chimed opening the door 

Erwin gave her a sheepish grin "we'll then, what can I do for you y/n although I'm sure I already know the answer" he teased raising a bushy blonde eyebrow in her direction.

 Erwin was often caught in between the squabbles between her and her dad, though he mostly replied with something along the lines of 'that's for you and your father to decide' y/n pulled the wooden chair out from in front of the desk and settled in it.
